At 6 PM. Did FoP become very popular, or technical difficulties for one or more theaters?

Don't apologise. You're just attempting to trivialise or simplify something you don't much like in order to make those who enjoy it look foolish, you can be honest about that. Everything is subjective and the whole Avatar thing does nothing for you, fair enough and I wouldn't try to change your opinion on it because ................................. well there's no reason to.

But the reality is that everything you love can be trivialised also, but why would anyone feel the need to do that? Ultimately a plant that lights up is a plant that lights up but what were you actually expecting, naked ladies cavorting provocatively whilst juggling chainsaws singing opera? To some it's the way the lit plant makes them feel that they enjoy, not what is physically creating it. Some see beauty in the colours and tones, the fact the image makes them feel happy and takes them to another place rather than just thinking "oh plants that light up".

Yes that's what they are but then again Michelangelo's 'The Crucifixion of St Peter' is basically 'a doodle of some guy being mugged, wow amazing' by your logic. In fact you could save a ton of money and instead of paying to see fireworks (some bits of fire in the sky, wow amazing) you could just light some matches and flick them in the air "Hey look kids, who needs Disney and their Wishes firework show this is just the same thing'. :)

Yes!!! Agree 100 percent.

When you're the leader, you don't have to follow.
Glad CM's and security are trying to put a stop to this. You'd think by now a little common sense would prevent people from making the decision that this sorta thing is ok. But as the saying goes...you can't fix stupid.
No, but you can accidentally stomp on Stupid's foot really hard as he/she/they try to cut in front of you.

I don't mean to sidetrack the thread, but this sentiment always puzzles me. My QS burger spot at WDW is Backlot Express and they're always quite good. Not as excellent as Big River but fair quality and quantity for the price. Where are people buying the rubber burgers I'm always reading about?

I haven't been since 2014 but Pecos Bill and Cosmic Rays come to mind. I eat all manner of fast food garbage but even draw the line at those. Maybe they have been improved recently.

Been in line since 4:20pm. I'm still in line. The cue is beautiful but insanely long to the point in which it's just too much. The cue would be a great walk though attraction by itself though
During the passholder previews, my wife and I walked the queue, despite having no intention to get on the ride. The story the queue tells is great. The little details really make it something special.

I think they were having problems earlier in the afternoon, at least. We were stuck in the pre-show room for several minutes. And again several minutes waiting g for the ride to start. Both times with no Cm present or even a recorded speil, which was really weird.

You peaked my interest at naked ladies with chain saws...perhaps a replacement for the lumberjacks at the Canadian pavilion at EPCOT;)

Same thing happened to me in the pre-show room. Everyone just stood there for like 5 minutes of silence while we waited for the guy on the monitor to come back. It was awkward and strange and no cast member came and said anything. Eventually it just started back up and we went on our way.

Hm it would never occur to me to order a burger at either of those locations. Pecos Bill's is a Tex-Mex joint and the only thing worth ordering at Cosmic's is the rotisserie chicken.

But I digress. Pandora looks amazing.

IIRC burgers were for at least a decade basically the headliner at Pecos before the new menu...topping bar, hot cheese sauce, etc. Sci Fi is the best in-park burger for me, or at least always was. Anyway yeah off-topic.

Pandora looks....about like what I expected and I look forward to checking it out whenever I finally cave and go back. Thanks to all the brave souls for the reports. There's just no way I'm waiting 2 hours to get into a store...that will surely subside after the initial crush, one would certainly hope.

Seems lines for both RJ and FOP have been hovering around 120 mins today. Not terrible for second day of full operations. I think the big surprise (for me at least) is the length of the RJ lines compared to the line length for FOP (not terribly different). Would be curious for the rational. Has RJ been running pretty reliably? Is FOP running at better capacity than expected? Is RJ just that popular due to the lack of height limit? Or are people just flocking to RJ because of the longer line at FOP?

Is there a way to walk through the entire queue, without actually going on the ride? There are some people in our party who have no intention of going on the ride itself. Is there an escape route, similar to what they have at Tower of Terror?
