Well Journey into Imagination was supposed to go down for refurbishment but that was canceled, Horizons is an iffy subject right now with the progress we have been making but brand new light parades seem to be the thing right now. I wouldn't be surprised if they made a new Spectromagic once Disney gets settled with Paint the Night. Why refurbish when new technology is around the corner. Epcot was having a big anniversary that year, although Spectromagic is having its 25th there's nothing to special going I with the Magic Kingdom.

Maybe an update similar to Dreamlights (Which is an updated version of MSEP)

I think Disney World would do really good for themselves if they revamped the Main Street Electrical Parade, keep a few original units, replace what is to far gone and add a Spectro like finally. Then add Paint the Night to Hollywood Studios. That would pick up the crowds dramatically. Already Symphony in the Stars packs the park.

This is definitely nostalgia talking, but SpectroMagic was one of the best things WDW has ever put out. What a musical score. So gorgeous. It was the parade of my youth and I have a strong attachment to it. But it is not coming back, I can only hope that whatever parade we get will be a worthy successor of Spectro. Something grandiose and lush. Befitting of what the resort as a whole is.

In last nights special DVC 25th firework show they played PTNs theme song "When Can I See You Again". To me it almost sounded like a new recording with the WDW parade singers... But I could be wrong.

Strange they re recorded the song just for this one time show.. Unless it was a old PTN demo?

It actually just sounds like the original song that was on the wreck it ralph sountrack. Either way it would have been nice to hear it in Disney World, and surreal. How long did this fireworks show play? It wasn't good, like at all, but at least it was different.

I hate to get off topic, but things like this urk the living heck out of me. The firework show was great and there were many songs I would to see played in fireworks shows, but a company that is cutting like they are closing the doors tomorrow all of a sudden has money for this?
