Two sources on Twitter are now claiming an October 9th closing date for MSEP. Both posted the claim around the same time.

Is it possible they may be keeping things very quiet even among the cast of MSEP and PTN until they announce it publicly? I say this because it doesn't sound like CMs are aware and rather laughing at all this talk of PTN coming to WDW.. At least what I'm hearing.

I wonder when this decision was made. Remember, they just recently started offering the MSEP Dining Package at Tony's Town Square Restaurant. I even booked the package during my trip in November.

I'd actually want PTN for now and then we get an all new parade for the 50th. It may not be the popular opinion, though
