You cannot win with a troll. Publicly retaliating against them just fuels their childish need for attention. There are only 3 reliable ways to deal with trolls, all of which focus on removing their audience, removing their power, and depriving them of the attention they seek.

  1. For a casual or emergent online troll: completely ignore the person's postings. While it is difficult for most users to to let a troll have the last word, this tactic successfully takes the wind out of a casual troll's sails.
  2. For repeating troll offenders: report them to the moderators of the system. If enough people report the toll, this will often prompt the moderators to take action (see number 3 below)
  3. Have the moderators take away the troll's ability to post online. This will commonly mean that the troll is kicked from the system, or blocked by IP address. Even better is when the troll is allowed to continue posting, but unbeknownst to him: all of his postings are deleted from everyone else's view. This will lure the troll into wasting his efforts while still feeling proud of his childish antics. This moderator move is sometimes called 'muting' or 'bonzo-ing' the offender.

Please DO NOT feed the troll.

Matches what I have heard although I had also heard anywhere from 2018 to 2020 for a new parade. 2018 being optimistic. . .

At one point, I was led to believe FoF at night was better than 50/50.

I agree but Disney is at fault for stuff like this. They have us plan far in advance for things and then leave uncertainty, whether it's waiting for RoL, a night parade, etc. Disney fans are and always will be thirsty for info.

DLR isn't like WDW - there's very little advance planning, and right now their whole marketing focus is on MSEP. There's no reason for them to disrupt that with an announcement drawing focus away from MSEP and having people delay their visit.

Now as to WDW, they're just the worst. ROL, the lack of entertainment at MK, etc.

I know but this is a WDW focused board and the people here have that mindset so that's why there is little patience.

Also, did you read the part in the article where it read "And there's so much more ahead...?"

As for FOF I would think due to the increase in guests during Spring break and if MK really is loosing attendance at night they would want FOF added to the nighttime line up ASAP rather than the summer?

I was told that at least one of the concepts for FoF@Night would have introduced new wardrobe. I was curious to see if they could realistically turn that around in a timeframe that made it worth their while.

Is MK really losing attendance??? If so, NOT GOOD TDO!

This is prob. not the popular opinion on here but TDO might have Frozen Summer in it;s back pocket( if it's already back there of course)

They already have the floats I think I read that Elsa's float also went to MK with the MOUCAT floats. They could do a tag right after wishes, with 180 which would be nice! I'm sure they could get Frozen Forever since OLC gave TDO the OUAT files.
I know, I know, Too much Frozen according to this site but it might not be a bad idea.

Hmm and there was that rumor that MK was receiving, what was said to be, PTN costumes... but perhaps, if that rumor was at all true, they could be a new set of PTN type costumes being used for FOF? That would be interesting, yet pretty sad and cheap on TDOs part adding PTN type costumes to FOF instead of a spending money to build a whole new light parade :rolleyes:
