our trip report..

ok, i'll try to make it short and simple...
from the moment we arrived at our airport in RI everything moved smooth and quickly...to orlando which the wait from going to the magical express desk was very fast ...we waited about 5-10 min for our bus...then to our resort..POR which was great as always..hardly anybody there....we got a great building #16....close to everything...weather was great..lines were close to nothing....our oldest was a little sick before we left for vacation....we thought she was better but....no...sick on the plane..sick at chef mickey's.....so after 3 days of not keeping even liquids by the 3 day. in her belly a trip to celebration hospital was her next visit...my husband said they were very quick there and very, very nice....my daughter ended up getting an IV to hydrate her and within 5 hrs was back to her normal, nutty self.....(which yes after how we seen her we so do prefer). oh just to note my husband probably was at the hospital a max of 2hrs..not bad....and another note the doctor at the hospital let us know that a cab fare to and from the hosptal cost nothing , zero....dollars.which is nice to know....the hilite of our trip...at animal kingdom in the character meet and greet...nobody meaning people were there....we seen all the characters within minutes..both my girls were dancing around with donald.....then we moved on to wait for minnie who was just getting done with her lunch...well she came out..we did some pics then....the best part..mickey, pluto, goofy joined us and minnie for the best pic ever...and a big old hug fest...i'm sorry but i don't care how old you are but when you'r hugged by goofy or any other character at that...you feel pretty dam special... :animwink: when my little girl was at the hospiatl the other daughter and i went to the magic kingdom.(had to keep my little one occupied) well we visited with the princesses...i had told them about my oldest being sick and everyone wrote a special get well note in her autograph book....days later when one of the princesses seen my little one she made it a point to let her know that she remembered her because she had a sick sister...and was very glad to finally meet her...very cute.....our other cool things..finally got to ride in the front of the monorail....very cool...had our pic taken with our golden ears in front of castle....over all it was a great time....and i know many may differ but i thought pooh's playground is very cute....hay to me its better than a wall being there...ok so i guess this was'nt short...but i had to let you guys know about our trip....well now its off to plan for next year....346 days to go..... yes i know its a run on sentence...sorry...
oh and also we met pocahotas at rafikis planet watch...she had as much personality as a piece of wood....oh and she looked bored and annoyed, she was tapping her leg..as if to say "alright already people move on"....i had been watching her for a while..while my girls were plaing around with rafiki...

ok i'm done...oh and please don't bash me too much....i'm now officially in withdrawal from disney.....have a magical day.....

oh and ps....got o see the trolley show......oh i loved it...

Sorry to hear about your DD getting sick! But at least you had a few magical moments. :)

When does the trolly show run? I thought that the trolleys weren't running on account of the rehab in Main Street? Or maybe I'm just clueless...:hammer:

I think that the princess remembering your family was so Disney Magical. I'm sure it really touched you and made your daughters happy. Glad you had a magical time...I know I did reading your report!

the first morning i had seen the trolley show it was with the trolley...the following days it was still the same show, but done with one of the caravan cars(because they had set up the walls for the rehab on the railroad)...it was still very cool...it runs several times a day...ask one of the cm's at town hall....they usually know the times...

thanks!! I've somehow always missed the trolley show whenever I've gone inthe past, and I thought I'd have to miss it again on account of the rehab. I'll make sure to catch it this time when I go next week!

Trolley show only runs in the AM and is generally done before 12:30. There are 4 shows every morning. don't know the times though, but hope this helps you.
