We have just got back from our holiday and did visit T-Rex for dinner. It was excellent. :D

The restuarant is split into various themes and has moving dinosaurs all around and a regualr meteor strike takes place. We were lucky enough to have a booth in the Rainforest right next to a dinosaur and her baby, this kept DD entertained for the whole time

The food is good and the kids choices were superior quality to the usual disney offerings. You must try the Chocolate Extinction desert which was more than big enough for our family of 5, and at $14.99 worked out a much better value than one choice each.

We ate at around 5.30pm and did walk straight in. It is a very noisy restaurant and some areas seemed quite dark (DH struggled to read the menu at one point). By the time we left at around 7pm it was very busy and there seemed to be a lot of people waiting for tables, hopefully this will improve when they introduce ADRs next year.

The Build a Dino area is great for the kids and if you have children there will be no escape, but it is priced better than i expected.

Overall i would say it is definitley worth a visit and we would have it on our list for next time :)

Once we are organised I will try and post some pictures :)

Good to hear. I know my DS5 will absolutely love it! It is also nice to hear that in addition to being a cool place, that the food was good, too.:)
