Serves you right for living some where sunny!!!!

 ;)

This sounds wierd, but I would recommend some mans razor burn lotion / gell.

That always works for me (not when I have had a shave, you understand...well, it does if I have razor burn...ok I have said enough now)

Hope you feel better soon.

:)

Ehhhhh stop complaining!

I had a sun burn on my face about a month and a half ago from being in the sun for about 7 hours (beaming directly on my face) with no sun block. My face felt like someone took a blow torch to it, rubbed it with some sand paper and then proceeded to pour tobasco sauce on it! The followiing days my face blistered....I looked like I had been burned in a fire. I got comments like "did someone bang you in the eye?" and "is your nose broken?", "were you in a fire?" LMAO so be happy its where ya got it and that its itching more so than burning. :P ;)

Vinegar burned the crap out of you? Try bathing in baking soda and not with cold water. I was burned pretty bad last month when I didn't realize the sun was so strong. There was a breeze and I forgot all about the sun (duh). The thing you need to do is to replenish the moisture. If you can get hold of some Silverdine, that would be your ticket. Silverdine is what is put on patients in a burn unit. I use it sparingly as our supply, from when my hubby was in a burn unit with chemical burns, is running low.

I know she meant parents. I just dont get why people use slang, but im weird.
Try a bath in aveeno.

Slang? lol

'rents is more of an abreviation. I don't use that abreviation but I don't see whats wrong with it.

I see much worse around here....lil' thing they call ebonics. :D

I'm pretty sure Susan here is fluent in it. Give him a lesson or two... ;)

If the lotions aren't helping, you may want to try a first aid cream that has an "analgesic." This will help with the pain a little. Do not use any "oil" treatments, this will only hold in the heat the burn is producing, and clog pores increasing risk of infection. If you buy a first aid spray or cream, try to avoid products ending in "cane" or "caine" (don't know why, this is what an ER nurse told me). Sometimes it brings some relief if you apply a clean cloth soaked in cool water (not cold). This helps rehydrate the skin as well.

Based on what you're describing, it sounds like you've got a major first degree burn, or at the worst a minor second degree burn. Sorry, no quick fix that I'm aware of, it will take some time. Short of going to a doctor for treatment, using a topical with an analgesic and rehydrating the tissue by fluid consumption, will be about as much as you can do. Once the pain and discomfort go away, stay with the aloe vera.

When my brother used to be home more than an hour a day we used to make fun of ebonics by saying things like" Yo hooked on ebonics be's working for me"

I never really heard ebonics till after I learned proper english. I dont care if people say it Ive just never gotten why people say it.

I think it takes longer to write with slangs (and ebonics whatever that is) than to write with proper real English!

I wonder if it is now harder to write "professionally" in normal English and not make those slang mistakes!

One thing is to write "u" instead of "you" and sort of, and another one is to write words wrong on purpose!

:animwink:
