Ok this has nothing to do with WDW, but here it goes. I'm going to Universal this summer before I go to WDW and I heard that there is a new ride based on the Mummy. Does anyone know what this ride is? Is it a coaster or a simulation thingy?

Why dont you read a little bit ahead in the forums before you post a question that was already asked numerous times.......

Question...the site says the Grand Opening is May 21st...does this mean...if I go to the park...on the 21st...I can get in the huge line to ride Revenge of the Mummy??? (No, this isn't a dumb question) Is this "Grand Opening" for everyone that attends the park...or only for Annual Passholders?

I'd like to know this also. I'll be at Universal on the 27th and 28th.

Last I heard, it will be back open for a soft opening on 5/14, with the grand opening 5/21. I know they are having an AP member event on 5/22 (I think) but I do not know what that entails.

I believe it will officially open to all paying guests on May 21st. I'm pretty sure, and someone can correct me if I'm wrong, but the press events are to be done during the week leading up to the 21st and should be done by then.....however, perhaps the 21st is another press day and the 22nd is the actual grand opening to everyone....I'm not sure, but I do believe it opens to everyone on the 21st. However, I can tell you that the AP events will not interfere as they are being held after park closing on specific days (I think there are now 5, 4 hour night events).

For AP previews it says other attractions will be open, does anyone know what other rides are going to be opperating?

I've heard rides in that general area...specifically Twister, Shrek and Jimmy Nuetron....but don't hold me to that ;)
