Oscar 2004 Poll: Best Actor

I voted Johnny Depp, but I think Sean Penn will get it... would be a first time (I think) that the Oscar is given to an actor in a comedy role if Depp wins. They should give two awards... :animwink:

What about Jack Nicholson in As Good as it Gets? I'm pretty sure there have been more comedic performances awarded, and although I'd love Johnny Depp to win, I also think Sean Penn will win.

No Oscar has ever been awarded to a PURELY comedic role (like Jack Sparrow). Jack Nicholson played a role that was part comedy and part drama in as good as it gets.

As for best picture, I don't really like any of the options (I'm sure LOTR will win)!

However, If I was on the academy (wishful thinking) both Big Fish and Holes would be up there. Also, Jon Voight would have gotten a nomination for best supporting actor.

Yeah! I just remembered about Jon Voight and I am sooo surprised he didn't get nominated! He was great!

LOL I just looked at the poll and were we a little biased?? 18 votes to Johnny Depp, one for Bill Murray and none to Sean Penn or the others! :lol:

I knew I should have casted my vote to Sean, but I felt bad for Johnny if I didn´t since I liked him too...
