Just sharing, our lake has their yearly Venetian Lights night where everyone is encouraged to light-up their boat for a night parade, or light up their docks. My wife and I decided to go big or go home, so we took approximately 6,000 pixels and the music from the original 1971 Electric Water Pageant that I grew up with as a kid, and created our own electric water pageant. It took about a month working nights and weekends to design, sequence and put the show on the boat. Below is video of our final land test before we put the props on the boat. I'm still trying to round up video from people on the lake and will share what I find in the posts (since we can't see it while we ride in the boat). We dubbed the Mickey voices in for transitions between sections. The more Disney side kicks in at about 1:20.

The funny side of the story is my brother-in-law and sister-in-law decided they wanted to ride with us. I think he's still humming IaSW after hearing it every 8 minutes for a few hours as we drove around the lake. 🤣

We hope you enjoy!

That's awesome! I wouldn't even begin to know how to do something like that - really cool.
Thank you, we started back in 2015 (when my wife told me I needed a hobby). I always laugh that you do all that work and don't even get to see it. I'm going to have to put a camera on a tripod and drive past it really slow the next time. Plus, you have to be a little crazy to do this. It took a month to get it designed, sequenced, and setup and I only drove around for a few hours. 🤣 But, from the comments everyone had their kids and grandkids there expecting the show and all enjoyed it (or at least if they didn't enjoy it they didn't tell me).

The software I use is donationware, and can be downloaded at xlights.org (along with instructional videos).
