Opinions on the Menu Announced for "Be Our Guest"

Crush Dude!

Back from WDW!Counting down to DLP in November!
I wouldn't just get excited about this resteraunt there may be something else coming that would knock the socks off of this resteraunt. You may have to dig a little deeper though to find out what it is though an it def wouldn't be in the FLE
Where would it be?

Finally a menu in MK with real food, not burgers and chicken fingers. I just hope it's executed better than Chef De france, being it French inspired.
I thought the EXACT same thing when I read the menu. MK is, by far, my least favorite park to eat in. But, take that that with a grain of salt since I don't have daughters, and I'm not into princesses.

I am thrilled with what Im seeing on this menu..a diverse resturant tha the MK desperately needed IMO. Now actually getting reservations:D that will be a feat in and of itself.

I really like the idea of finally having some variety in the menu beyond the usual suspects of burgers and chicken nuggets. The Magic Kingdom is long overdue for something like this.

I just hope we don't get caught in a situation where everyone wants the physical environment experience and then start complaining about the food offerings (no chicken nuggets, etc..) forcing the menu to become completely generic like everywhere else in the park over time.

lol

1. Use the force

2. Slip her a "mickey" (pun intended) and tell her its the mainstreet bakery

haha, good idea! I think she might like some of the lunch items. I'm sure we will try it at some point! I think we did good this past trip expanding our dining and going to Cali Grill and Sanaa.. I don't wanna overload her too much with new stuff!! lol (this is why we're doing Coral Reef and Narcoossee's before she gets there in September!) After that it's back to the good old Le Cellier, Ohana and 50's Prime Time Cafe! (We love those places though so it's ok!)

I agree with Trotsky. It looks like a fantastic lunch spot and could easily become my favorite eatery in the Magic Kingdom. Although I'm sure I'll try dinner there eventually, I'll still leave the park for a signature dinner at a nearby resort most of the time.

I just have to say that I'm kind of ticked that they mentioned NOTHING about Beef Ragout, Cheese Souffle, Pie and Pudding en Flambe. And SERSIOUSLY- there MUST be some gray stuff!:D

I know, I'm taking it all very literally; however, I think this would be such a fun element. At least it ended with something about it being a good value...so I'm taking it as a hint that it could be a 1-credit/non-signature option with more reasonable prices (i.e. in line with all of the higher end 1 credit meals non sig meals)...but that's just my guess.

Other than that, looks good, but the ambiguity is driving me nuts. i.e. late August and more of this "holiday season" business.

I thought the menus sounded great. I am a little disappointed that there was no grey stuff. I heard it was delicious. ;) I was hoping they would be giving a more definite opening date. I am hoping for early October. I am keeping my fingers crossed.

I think the menu looks really good! We made all our ADRs for our December trip but my whole family wants to try Be Our Guest and have been hoping it will be open when we are there! We will cancel one and replace with Be Our Guest if we can! Can't wait til the middle of August!
