I think its a load of garbage, Loosing the Electrical Parade to this would be worse them loosing Spectromagic. Plus the music is just an overlay of Soundsational and Festival of Fantasy.

I love the parade! That's not the best video though. There are a ton on YouTube that are much better! I love the music, especially when it's time to "paint"

Eh, I'm not a fan of some of the Pixar characters they have in there. I liked the Tinkerbell float though. The music is not really the best, but it's cool how the costumes are so bright that you can't really see the performers.

Looks great, nice and modern :) Seems a little Pixar heavy but meh. I also like the actual 'flying' Tinkerbell and that they use samples of the MS Electrical Parade as the underscore. Music fits pretty well. It's perhaps a little too short with too few floats for my liking but it's great otherwise and look forward to see how California pulls it off.

I'll try and link a better video for u guy here cuz that one isn't good. That video is only 14 minutes long and the parade is just about 20 minutes in length. On top of that there will be 2 more floats for the DL version so it will be even longer...

The music has nothing to do with Soundsational or Festival of Fantasy, other than that some of the same songs are used (Under the Sea, etc.). The parade's theme is from Wreck It Ralph and the show stop theme was written specifically for this parade.

WDW would only be so lucky to lose MSEP to something like this. MSEP is an embarrassment, and that's when all of its floats are fit to go out (last time I was there less than half the parade was used for the performance). It's over 40 years old and the only updated portion is the less than impressive Tinker Bell float. No parade should be forced to run for 40 years. It needs to die and be replaced by a magical, elaborate and technologically exciting night parade...like Paint the Night.

But keep telling TDO you like the MSEP! They'll keep it around as long as people "love it" and "can't imagine it ever going away."

Don't worry. WDW is in no danger of getting an amazing new light parade, because guests at WDW are thrilled to be watching a 40 year old dinosaur each night. Why would TDO invest in a new parade when everyone just loves the ratchet one they drag out each night?

The only reference to an older parade in the music is MSEP beat remixed in here and there, a nice nod to the original (more like a big f u really, seeig as how much better this parade is than MSEP).

I'm very curious to know 2 things for DLs version. 1. What are the 2 new floats gonna be? 2. This is the only parade I have ever seen where Disney characters are not walking around inbetween the floats. Do you think they would add Disney characters and new light up costumes for them so there are more chances for people to be able to paint the night?

The technology is amazing but I think it was a terrible lineup plus there wasn't as many units. Now a parade like this with the Electrical Parade or Spectromagic lineup would be insane.

I agree it should be longer, and I don't care for the Pixar emphasis. HKDL is very specific though - their audience isn't as familiar with Classic Disney as we are. DL's version will be much longer - excited to see what they come up with for that.

The song is When Can I see you again from Owl City..

And from what I heard I did hear the MSEP Track from DConstructed into the mix..

I don't get why there scaling down in the lineup. The original Electrical Parade has 14 units, and about 10 small ones adding up to at least 24. Paint the night has 8 units, 3 whirlys, thats it. If Disney was the company it was back then they would have Main Street Electrical Parade or Spectromagic with Paint the Night technology on all the units and the full lineup.

Has anyone heard rumblings of MSEP going away and a new parade being considered for WDW? I'm thinking maybe 2016 or 2017.. Probably a new firework show will happen first.

Haven't heard anything about a new night parade, only a new fireworks show. WDW just for Festival of Fantasy so I don't think another new parade would debut for some time...

I have watched the video before and I think it is a really well done parade. It could be a little bit longer. I don't Mind the Pixar characters but there should be more classics in it.
