What ever they do at Disney World it has to have an orchestrated musical score with Jiminy Cricket as the host. Not saying bring back Spectromagic but I really miss that warm feeling the park had before and during Spectromagic.

The parade looks amazing. I didn't much care for score, mostly clips from and remixes of various songs - I prefer purpose written scores. I did find it interesting that the main street buildings seem to be nothing but painted flats above the ground level - ugly.

Pretty and impressive tech regarding the lighting and a couple of nicely designed floats, but otherwise somewhat of a let down. Don't care for the music and it's criminally short on floats compared to the likes of MSEP, Spectro and Fantillusion. The float design is also mixed apart from the lighting. But again the lighting technology is again wonderful, colorful and bright. Pretty much no complaints there, i'm a big fan.

Apart from the new lighting though, I far prefer MSEP, Spectromagic and Fantillusion from a music and float design perspective. I'm not even a big fan of MSEP's soundtrack but still like it better than Paint the Night (Spectromagic was my absolute favorite parade soundtrack). I'd be thrilled if they rebuilt a new version of Spectromagic and the same music (with a mixture of old and new floats), but incorporated the new lighting tech seen here. That's what Dreamlights is when compared to MSEP, and in recent years it also has some newer floats with comparable lighting effects to Paint the Night (it's been continually plussed gradually over the years since it was first built).

so I watched the video...got through half and I couldn't take it anymore. I'm sorry but no. Horrible. I'll take horrible Main Street Electrical than this. I hate the 'get the guest in the action' kinda of this and horrible music. Too many flashing lights.

ie: Bright lights hurt my eyes....hence why I'm like a vampire and in the dark most of the time at home. And don't get me started on fluorescent lights.

It was a little short but I loved it. It felt new and fresh and I liked seeing some of the classic characters with remixed songs. I feel like DW needs to bring more modern and new attractions/parades in.
