low attendance extends to restaurants. Increased spacing between tables, meaning lower capacity in each restaurant.
In-resort Grubhub service — let people get delivery of resort restaurants to their hotels. QS as mobile order only.
In the mens common bathrooms in the parks and resorts, the urinals are not spaced 6 feet apart. Prior to departing the restroom, a good soap and water rinse of your hands, arms and probably face can help clean off the germs.
Masks: If everyone’s wearing masks, then 6SD goes away and you only need to tell everyone to sanitize their hands before touching their face. (And have sanitizers literally everywhere.) The hard part here is getting small children to keep theirs on.
Masks are really not practical in this setting. Masks can carry the virus and per CDC guidelines, should be replaced (or washed) for each use. So, a family would need to bring at least a daily supply of masks for the entire vacation. And, that does not even get into the proper handling of masks to prevent further contamination. Kinda like how people are not utilizing masks and gloves properly in simple settings like grocery stores. And, that is adults. Young children would have an even more difficult time.
This virus does not really abide by statistics.Disney can provide the masks. That simple.
The scientific data conclusively demonstrates that even imperfect use of masks reduces the R0.
Quite simply— it would be completely reckless to operate the parks unless you can operate at R0 under 1.0.
So if Disney parks normal operation brings a R0 of 2.5....
And temperature checks reduce it to 2.2..
And eliminating parades and shows reduce it to 1.9
And limiting attendance reduce it to 1.6...
And extra sanitizing procedures reduce it to 1.4..
And extra hand washing brings it down to 1.1
And masks bring it down to 0.9....
Now you can safely operate. Some people will still get infected... let’s say 10 infected people walk into the park—
Do you want them to spread the infection to 25 addition people, or 9 additional people.
Nope ....Have you ever worn latex gloves when it is 90 degrees out surprisingly your hands sweat like crazy and drip sweat out the cuffs. I don't think they would be very practical in the heat of summer at WDW
Well, if you get too close to the lions or tigers, then food will wear masks. You sure?
Just a few people if it’s me and my buddies dropping G Dubs and Honest Abes all over the world.I have no idea...ok, that’s all I can muster...carry on.
1. They do...and it’s alot higher than you might think
Not that simple, not cost effective and not practical. But, we will need to agree to disagree.
Walk with a mask in the middle of Main Street / M K in the middle of July , 100 degrees and that mask will be soaked by lunchtime.not cost effective??
a week’s worth of masks is cheaper than the complimentary magic bands.
not practical? Take a look at theme parks in China that have re-opened... take a look at the streets of Taiwan.

I'm sure the Disney shareholders would not approve that jingle.Disney's new marketing tagline for 2020
