Oops! Transportation question

We are staying at the Animal Kingdom Lodge and have 8am ADRs for the Kona Cafe on our first full day. My plan was to catch the bus to MK and hop the monorail over to the Poly, but I just realized that MK doesn't open until 9am that day (no morning EMHs either) and so the bus won't even start running until 8am. We aren't renting a car on this trip so what are my other options for getting to the Poly on time? Can I just arrange for a taxi?

A taxi in some cases is the fastest way to get from resort to resort. It might not be a bad idea especially since buses pack up early as everyone wants to get to the parks. :wave:

Talk to the concierge at your resort. Maybe they can arrange a for a van to get you there.

Breakfast buses start running at 7AM. If you let the driver of an MK bus know you're eating at Poly, they'll drop you there.

Breakfast buses are marked for the park nearest where your eating, so the MK bus from your resort services WL, Poly, Contemp and GF as well as MK. They're not on a schedule per se, whereas an hour before the park opens the scheduled MK buses start running.

Couple transportation questions...

We are staying at GF and we have several breakfasts - either at a resort or park that can be reached via the monorail - but before the parks officially open. Will the monorails be running early or do we need to catch a breakfast bus?

If we have to catch a breakfast bus - and for example were trying to make our 8 am ressie at The Poly, I would catch the bus to MK and then tell the driver to drop us at the Poly?

Or, if you want to work up your hunger (or work off your meal afterward), you can walk along the path between the GF and the Poly. It's about 4/10 of a mile lobby-to-lobby.

Let's add to the transportation questions. We are staying at Old Key West and have first show ADR at Hoop Dee Doo Revue and Magic Kingdom is open late that night. We have transportation but what is the best way to go to plan on going to MK after Dinner. Should we drive and leave the car somewhere at Wilderness or drive to the MK after dinner or some other option would be fun. We are there for 10 days so no hurry from point A to B.

If you're going to be at MK before dinner, a boat both ways would be my choice. The Green Launch goes between Fort Wilderness and MK and runs until 45 mins after the park closes.
