Do we think Zombie Cap will be back this year? I don't know if he was on a treat trail last year or not so whether his lack of appearance at the Cast Preview means that he wouldn't be back this year, or if he wasn't on a treat trail this year so wouldn't necessarily be out at a Cast Member's preview.

Looks like he may be returning for the D23 member night Oogie Boogie Bash -

A question for Disneylanders with experience of the parties: Is it possible to get tickets at the door? I realise they’re sold out online, and Disney doesn’t state anything to suggest you can show up and buy them in person, but perhaps there’s an unadvertised procedure that some of you know about. Any help in this regard would be much appreciated!

All I've heard is that in the past they've had a handful of tickets set aside for resort guests who were staying on property; some folks book a room for the night before and go down to front desk early in the morning to get those tickets. Personally don't know if that's still the case post-COVID or how successful folks have been in general with that method.

Thank you! This is helpful!

@waltography, your tip totally worked! I was asking for a friend who isn’t on the forum, and they and their partner managed to get tickets by reserving a night at the Disneyland Hotel and showing up super early on the day of their check-in. The CMs behind the desk took their names and those of other guests who were there for tickets and then called them out in order starting at 6:30 am. It’s not a guaranteed method (there may well be days on which extra tickets aren’t made available to the hotels), but it worked for my friend. Thanks!

@waltography what would you say the average wait times were for RSR, Soarin, Webslingers, Incredicoaster and MAD at Oogie Boogie? My non Magic Key sister and nephew are coming so she wants to knock out some rides. Just trying to figure out how hard we have to go from 3pm to 6pm.

Last year I remembered RSR topped out at about 45-60, Guardians and WEB Slingers were 30-45, and Soarin and Incredicoaster were 10-20. Mileage will vary but I remember wait times were surprisingly nice because most everyone was in line for the treat trails, parade, or Villains Grove.

I'd avoid trying to ride RSR or MAD during the mix-in hours since those waits tend to be insane (it ballooned to 2.5 hours and 1.5 hours respectively last year). I think you can probably choose 2 rides between Incredicoaster, Soarin, and WEB, then walk over to Ernesto's treat trail at around 5:30/5:45 and then ride the rest during the party.

Thanks! That sounds like a solid plan. The wait times during the party don’t sound as short as I was hoping for but oh well. If it wasn’t for my sister I wouldn’t even care really care about the rides.
