Only One Day...Pick A Park...

I'd say MK, like everyone else here-especially with the length of time it's been since you've visited.

That said-and I never thought I'd say this-but AK has seriously improved over the past few years, and it's unfair to lump it in with HS and Epcot at this point. It's beautifully-themed, and there actually is a lot to do there. It's not a third as barren as the other two parks; Future World is so depressing, and it used to be my favorite place-and HS is currently a literal shell of a park.

But as far as classic Disney experiences go, and only with one day to soak it in-there really is only one answer here.

For me, if I only had one Disney World day, it'd be Epcot. Not really for the attractions, but for the atmosphere, the alcohol, the food, the alcohol, the entertainment, and did I mention the alcohol?

I have to agree with the general consensus here. Magic Kingdom is the heart of Disney World, and if you only have one day, that's hands down the park to go to.

Magic Kingdom for us!
It's our favorite park because of its nostalgia for us, the attractions, the eats, shops, and the general atmosphere. It makes us feel like home.
We'd get there at rope drop and likely head to the Mine Train, then probably Space Mountain and then head to various lands after that. We'd have lunch at Crystal Palace and dinner at Pecos Bills. We'd take a break from rides in the afternoon and check out the shops and ride the train and do some slower paced attractions. What a great imaginary day!

I'd definitely choose Magic Kingdom if you have only one day. It has the widest range of attractions and other things to do, IMO. Epcot would be second.

At the moment, to me, the Studios and Animal Kingdom are half day parks and rather expendable. Nice to see, but if time is limited, not that big of a deal.

Hands down my daughter would pick Epcot. It is her favorite park. She could spend the entire day just walking around the countries, watching the shows, shopping, trying the food, going to club cool, riding Spaceship Earth and Living with the Land, watching Illuminations, etc. She loves Epcot.

I would pick Magic Kingdom for sure! I could spend from sun up to sun down in Magic Kingdom. There is just so much to do and see. Magic Kingdom keeps me fully engaged.
