I don't remember if ours was on the room key because we used it for the deposit or if I added it when I did online checkin, but it was on there when we arrived.

yes, you can add a credir card during online check in to use for charging privleges on your key to the world card

You can.

Online check-in was quicker for me about 60-70% of the time. Sometimes, it was a longer line that regular check-in. Just a heads up there.

Yes you can. And if you need to change the cc while there or before you arrive, you can do that too.

Yes, for sure.

Although be warned. We tended not to charge things, we paid as we went along. We did charge a couple of drinks to our room however, but on the last night when I went to pay the $15ish that we owed I found that 2 meals which had been covered by DDP had in fact been charged to our room! They were both CS at AK and the CM soon sorted it, he was great. However had I not gone to reception to pay, they would have been charged to my cc and as I would have been back in UK by then it would have been difficult to sort out.
