I used Online Check-in today to check-in for our March 7 stay at BWV. It was easy, painless, and trouble-free. I'm interested to see if it's just as easy, painless and trouble-free when we show up on March 7.

Seeing as I'm arriving on March 22, I'll be interested to hear how it went!

Thanks to your post, I checked out dvcmember.com as was able to add our "celebration" (DH's birthday) to the reservation.

where is this on the web site?

Where exactly, on the dvcmember.com web site, are you able to make those modifications to your DVC reservation? I have a reservation starting the day before yours and would like to make similar celebration changes, but it's not obvious to me where that - or the on-line check-in - is.

Thanks in advance...

Interesting... When I click "View Vacation Details", I simply see my contracts and "Upcoming Vacations". I only see my Christmas 2009 vacation - not my March 21 vacation. I wonder if that has anything to do with the March vacation being booked with developer points. I wonder if that means I can't check-in via on-line for the developer points booked vacation. (Bummer, if true.)

Regardless, I don't see any link on that page referring to on-line check-in. That's where you're seeing the link? It says "On-line Check-in", I assume?

Thanks again.

You will not see your reservation on developer points.

let us know if online check-in was worth it. Im going to Saratoga Springs on March 28th

Yeah we'll be there on the 25th of Sept...I've been wondering if its worth putting in for a request for Congress Park by phone now(as we usually do) or putting it in while we check in online...I can only imagine the mess when the online reservations start for Dining...:brick:

Well, we arrived today at the Boardwalk Villas. We’re here at BWV for 8 nights, followed by 4 more nights at SSR (got to use those BLT developer points), for a nice 12 night stay.

I did the online check-in, and told them we’d be there at 12:30pm. We arrived at 12:15pm, and the online check-in key pickup area was not immediately apparent. We asked the Bell desk, and they pointed us to the far end of the check-in area.

I think the online check-in saved maybe 1-2 minutes (we didn’t have to give them a credit card). However, our room was immediately available. There wasn’t a line at either the regular check-in or for the online check-in key pickup. They gave me a birthday pin, since we noted my birthday in the celebration link on the DVC member web site.

Is it only up and running for DVC members now? I have a regular reservation for tomorrow and have been trying for the past week to do online check in with no success. :( Every time I type in my reservation number and phone number I get a Disney error message saying they cannot process my reservation now and to try later. Since we check in tomorrow I might as well check in at the hotel but I really wanted to try this out.
