Gru has enacted his latest fiendish plan: take over Universal Studios Florida! All across the park, you will witness his "despicable" approach to a grand summer vacation, with special dance parties, whimsical photo ops set up by the Minions, and the debut of a brand new walkthrough attraction: Minions: Villain-Con Chaos!.

Bonus: Frozen Banana-Rama

Even Gru knows how hot the summer can be, so he's been inspired by the Minions to whip up the Frozen Banana-Rama, a banana-flavored frozen drink topped with a whip cream foam top, which can be served either plain, as a "Banana-Rama Boom!" with pop rocks covering the whip cream, or "Villain-Approved" with some rum mixed in.​

Oh, man! I hadn't even thought of it, but you know "Cruel Summer" would absolutely be the song used in all of Universal Orlando's promo ads for the event!

HOLIWOOD WEEKENDS

The legendary HoliWood Nights A.C.E. event, long established as the mecca event of the year for coaster enthusiasts, now expands to every weekend of Holiday World’s short summer season, where guests can remain in the park for extra hours into the cool Indiana nighttime surrounded by all the glitz & glamor of the red carpet. The event officially kicks off with fireworks on 4th of July weekend in Holiday World’s eponymous 4th of July themed land, where Holidog and pals invite revelers to enjoy endless free soda, free ice cream, and walk-on access to the most sought-after roller coaster night rides in existence.

Red White & Blue is a layered cocktail made of red grenadine, blue Curaçao, and topped with white cream, just potent enough to make a night ride on The Voyage even more stupendous.​

Computer Science Weeks at Epcot

A computer science takeover of Epcot’s World Discovery and World Nature would celebrate the use of computer hardware and software in the fields of aerospace, transportation, communication, agriculture, and oceanography. Guests would listen to presentations by prominent computer scientists, get hands-on with learning how to code, and view exhibits of computer science history.

This is my submission. It’s in Japan because summer=ghosts in Japanese culture.

Master Gracey’s Swinging Wake:
Master Gracey and the other 998 happy haunts take over Tokyo Disneyland in celebration of the Beating Heart Bride’s anniversary. The ballroom ghosts dance a ghoulish waltz in Fantasyland, Madame Leota performs seance tricks in Westernland, The Organist, Graveyard Band, and Phantom Pianist accompany The Singing Busts on World Bazaar’s streets, and The Bride leads a processional to the Manor starting in Adventureland.

BONUS: Madame Leota’s Possession Poison.
This drink includes Butterfly Pea (changes color when lemon is added), gin or Sprite, if one is uncomfortable with alcohol (for clarity), Coca Cola’s infamous Italic Beverly, and dry ice for a smoky bubbling effect, along with a lemon wedge garnish that is squirted in by the server.

Hey @cdunlap ! I tagged since I noticed you were active on the forums, and wanted to see if you would like to participate in the One Sentence Competition. This competition features challenges that are posted every few days, and you have two sentences and an image to respond to that prompt. As long as you follow the rules in your submission then you automatically receive a point, if you have the strongest concept of the challenge you get two points instead.

The competition is pretty low stakes and doesn’t require a huge time commitment so it’s a perfect way to just relax and have some fun while getting to post some creative ideas and look at others for inspiration. It could also be a cool way to test out ideas you’ve had by using the competition as a way to do an elevator pitch and get some quick feedback

Overall it’s a good time, and I hope you participate however if you can’t no worries at all

Phineas and Ferb's Epcot Takeover

With the Disney+ success of Candace vs. the Universe, imagineers thought it would be fit to bring back the beloved characters to Epcot with a summer long takeover! Crossovers include the tempoary reinduction of Agent P's World Showcase Adventure, a temporary makeover of Soarin' into Phineas and Ferb's Soarin' over Danville, and the permanent reinduction of the upstairs Imageworks themed to inventions and other fun tech made by P&F.

Doofenshmirtz's Drink-inator is a cool mix of fizzy grape soda and virgin blueberry daiquri to make a drink so delicious, cool, and refreshing it could take over the world!

Okay this drink sounds amazing, and I would 100% be getting the full package Villian-Approved rum and the Banana-Rama Boom topping sound so great. However, to get the bonus point you unfortunately only receive an additional sentence. Perhaps a semicolon and some restructuring could get you there?

Cinematic Splashdown at Volcano Bay

With two major films in theaters, the Tribute Store in Universal Studios Florida being themed to a movie theater playing some classic films, and Universal's Great Movie Escape coming in the fall, Universal's next move for a cinematic celebration is to bring iconic movie characters to Volcano Bay. With sand sculptures in front of the entrances, a Minions Luau themed dance party, unforgettable and fantastical movies playing on Waturia Beach at night, and nods, easter eggs, and references from banners, decals, and statues made from bamboo and fabric depicting icons such as the Delorean and Woody Woodpecker in the style of Volcano Bay's Waturi people to a constellation of E.T. and Elliot in the lazy river tunnel; with the iconic E.T. theme being played and even a half buried Barbasol can in the Rainforest Village section with a hidden Dilophosaurus figure emerging from the bushes to spray water at curious visitors, Cinematic Splashdown at Volcano Bay lets visitors soak up the movies.

Bonus: Sweet Reel-axations​

Served at the Dancing Dragons Boat Bar, Sweet Reel-axations is a nonalcoholic slush that takes the already beloved orange cream and mixes it with the tartness of kiwifruits and the sweetness of grapes and is also topped with Tropical Swedish Fish and a candy stick shaped and patterned to look like a movie reel strip.

Peter Quill’s EPCOT Festival of the Summer

Join Peter Quill and other famous Marvel heroes (that Disney can legally do, such as Doctor Strange and Captain Marvel) as they celebrate the summer in style, featuring new experiences in World Discovery and World Nature, where Stephen Strange, Carol Danvers, Shang-Chi, Moonknight, and many others come together to help Peter Quill celebrate his first summer since ‘88.

Of course, with the festival being put together by the Legendary Star-Lord, don’t be surprised if you see some tributes to some of forlorn favorites, where you can see EPCOT through the lens of Peter Quill with references to classics such as Horizons, the Energy Dinosaurs, and the Veggie Veggie Fruit Fruit, that will leave you saying “EPCOT’s the best” after your day is done.

SPLATOON SUMMER at SUPER NINTENDO WORLD

Coming to all the parks with Super Nintendo Worlds, this will be a event taking over Super Nintendo World with food trucks specializing in Japanese street food, interactive Splattershots to color buildings, an Inkopolis overlay for Mario Kart: Bowser's Challenge, and a special concert by the Squid Sisters and Off the Hook every night followed by fireworks.

Bonus: Squid Slushes

Frosty paint bucket cupped slushes with four flavors. Callie (Raspberry), Marie (Green Apple), Pearl (Peach) and Marina (Lemon-Lime)
