Put on your Sunday clothes imagineers as our fourth challenge is about to kick off at the One Sentence Competition: Summer Fun! For this challenge you're all tasked with creating a whole new meet and greet experience at any theme park. Make it as simple or as complex as you would like as anything from a simple pop up experience to Lucky the Dinosaur to Turtle Talk to even Enchanted Tales with Belle can count as a meet and greet here!

-Challenge-
Design a new meet and greet experience for any theme park.

-Rules-
- You may use between 1 to 2 sentences and up to 1 image.
- If you breach any of these rules your project will be disqualified, and will not be counted for rankings nor will it receive a review from me.
- The deadline is Tuesday, July 5th at 10:00 PM EST.

-Tips-
K.I.S.S. – Keep it simple, silly. Try not to complicate or overthink things too much. It’s a simple, casual competition – there are no eliminations. Propose as you please, let your imagination soar!

-Judging Criteria-
Is it creative?
Is it (generally) realistic?
Does it fit thematically/visually?

Good luck everyone! If you have questions, please feel free to ask! Enjoy!

It’s not easy bein’ green - or believing after all this time, we haven’t had a place to Meet The Muppets at Walt Disney World - until now, at the suddenly busier PizzeRizzo, where a person (or frog) can meet a bear and have their picture taken!

Much like Beast at Be Our Guest, a different Muppet (or two) will appear every 30 minutes on each floor (ostensibly to visit their pal Rizzo for a chat or a slice) and then take up a post for proper meet & greets, so if you stay more than half an hour, you’ll likely meet a few of them!

Coming soon to Nintendo World Seatt Super Nintendo World at all Universal parks is a new Pokémon-themed meet and greet. You are led into a chamber that houses some friendly wild Pokemon that you can interact with (like Pikachu, Meowth, Eevee, Lucario, Mudkip, and others) and the best thing is that the Pokemon that you will see change every day, which means that you’ll never know who you encounter, just like in the Pokemon games.

Madame Leotas’

A terrifying new table service themed to the Haunted Mansion has crypt up, where you can meet all sorts of spooky specters: It is located in back of the Haunted Mansion, inside of the areas’ oldest graveyard and within an underground mausoleum, that for some reason everyone is dying to get into, Everything throughout the restaurant is themed to the attraction even the waiters and waitresses, who seem very putout and ALMOST dead themselves.

Unlike the roaming characters who are most DEFINITELY dead: You may feel an overwhelming coldness as The Phantom, The Bride and The Hitchhiking Ghosts apparate and disapparate within the main hall, Even Madame Leota, who is the head of the establishment, comes to the tables and greets guests like they are dearly departed, Since she has no body though she does need a bit of assistance, her Undead Servant rolls her table around with her crystal ball upon it, so she can converse with her living patrons, If you are lucky she may even tell your future... or unlucky if it's not good.

P.S. If the Haunted Mansion characters isn't your thing come for the Holidays, That is when "The Nightmare Before Christmas" characters take over

Put on Your Sunday Clothes indeed, and celebrate WALL-E, star of the 2008 Pixar movie of the same name, as the newest meet and greet character at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and who might even sing a few bars of iconic music from the 1969 movie Hello, Dolly! Thanks to innovative, free-standing animatronic technology developed by Disney imagineers, WALL-E can interact with guests and respond to real-time conversations via remote control and using electronic “eyes” that will enable a voice operator to see the person they’re communicating with.

Sitting atop a gigantic mushroom near the Mad Tea Party at the Magic Kingdom is a brand new LCI animatronic (a la Muppet Mobile Labs), the snobbish blue caterpillar from Alice in Wonderland. The Caterpillar sings, gives guests unhelpful advice, blows smoke from his hookah, and might even strike up a conversation with you - just don't say anything about three inches being a wretched height (HE'S precisely three inches high, and he feels that it is a very good height indeed).

Geppetto's Workshop

Located at the exit to Pinocchio's Daring Journey at Disneyland, what was once either a shop of some kind (any kind) or a meet-n-greet for the "Frozen" characters of all things is now a meet-n-greet for, appropriately enough, the "Pinocchio" characters. Here, you can meet with Pinocchio himself, either by himself or sometimes with either Geppetto or Jiminy Cricket, all of whom are very seldom seen in the parks anymore, if at all (I was fortunate to see Pinocchio and Geppetto at Disneyland in late May when I was down there for Star Wars Celebration).

And well-timed with the new movie coming up.

And well-timed with the new movie coming up.
Except, as with the retheme of Village Haus to Red Rose Tavern, I don't want it to be overtly themed to the remake. Besides, the remake had nothing to do with this. I just really like the original animated movie and it pains me to know that appearances by the "Pinocchio" characters are so rare nowadays.

RETURN OF FIGZILLA

Guests will run and scream in delight as the beloved Figzilla returns in the Imageworks! The Grid used for Ralph and Vanellope will be repurposed and rethemed to the iconic rainbow tunnel, bringing an element of wonder and nostalgia to this fun meet and greet.

Betty the Yeti

Realizing that the cost would be too prohibitive to bring the Yeti back to “A mode,” the Imagineers planned the next best alternative—Betty the Yeti Meet & Greet! Located near Expedition Everest at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, guests will be able to “high five” and pose with Betty in her yeti lair high in the Himalayas.

A Charlie Brown Christmas in July

The Cedar Point Ballroom, located directly adjacent to Planet Snoopy, becomes the location of A Charlie Brown Christmas in July, a walk-through attraction for Peanuts fans of all ages.

Scenes from the ever-popular television Christmas special come to life as guests stroll through a recreation of this classic holiday special, where they can meet, greet and have photos taken with all members of the Peanuts gang, including Charlie Brown, Linus, Lucy, Schroeder and of course everyone’s favorite beagle, Snoopy, while segments from the special are broadcast on HD screens in between scenes.
