I have been in Maryland way too long. I graduated from Basic Jan 30, and have been at Ft Meade MD since Jan 31. That's right... I have been going on over 6 months with Drill Sergeants breathing down my neck and 100 other soldiers who make the barracks feel more like Dawson's Creek than the military (that being high school-esque drama). But in one month (Sept 11) I graduate from my AIT training and I get to GO HOME TO SUNNY ORLANDO!!! I so cannot wait I will be home from the 12th until (no later than) the 5th of October, when I have to report to my first duty station (which is 45 minutes down the road at Walter Reed). But you know what, after only have a Six Flags to go to (and a sorry one at that) you begin to really miss those parks.
