One Man's Dream to show previews for 'The Good Dinosaur'

Seems kind of dumb to put it there when there's a perfectly good Sounds Dangerous/ABC Theater that was just used for Frozen Summer.

I was just thinking the same thing.

Unless they are planning the usual Comedy Warehouse Christmas show to go in there?

Close an attraction to just show previews? Seems strange. Unless you're going to enter and exit from the Animation Courtyard side of the theater so they can work on the other side?

My guess would be you are right. Close the main attraction and while they remove all the museum pieces and demolish the interior, use the theatre for the preview. Then after Christmas, close everything.
Still seems strange not to use the ABC sounds dangerous theatre

No
So why does DL get the preview in A Bug's Life Theater, with effects, and DHS get it in One Man's Dream, with no effects? And why not use both parks Capitan EO theater, like past previews.... I have a theory, laugh at me if you want and feel free to tell my why this could not happen... what comes out in December? Anyone? Why would they need a big space such as Captain EO to hold a mass load of people to show a preview?.. Star Wars!!!
Maybe they have both theaters on reserve to hold a special 10-minute screening of Star Wars?

I agree use Sound Dangerous and begin construction already!

They probably won't due to it's size of crowds and put it in the Premier Theater by Streets of America since they are doing the last Osborne Spectacle this year..

Seems like a logical place to me to offer a movie preview. After all, it is a movie theater. I'm sure the long term plan isn't to show movie previews there but why not do so while it's just sitting idle?

I hate to be the one to break it to you, Marni, but...

(Not sure what happened. I was responding to Marni's post that said, "It's not closed." but then that post disappeared.)

There are rumors of its closing, but it is not closed at this point. So it isn't sitting idle now.

LOL So you guys are thinking that come October 19, they are just going to start playing previews for The Good Dinosaur at the same time as the One Man's Dream film? Some kind of weird mash up? At this point, don't you think it's safe to say it's going?

You said " Did they not close One Man's Dream? Closed is pretty idle to me." They did not close it. That's what @marni1971 was responding to. I leave the speculation about future closings to others, but we'll put you down for "It's closing by October 19."

I would argue the more compelling piece of One Man's Dream is the series of exhibits, not the film, which I don't sit for anymore. The exhibits will remain a bit longer. Turns out they can start work on Toy Story Land behind Midway Mania earlier than they need to demo OMD to make the entrance to the land. The park is holding on to any capacity it can for as long as possible.
