Ummmmmm! I suppppppose Magic Kingdom but only because of Main Street and the castle.

Otherwise, I'd chose Animal Kingdom! :p

We have done MK day trips for the past two years and "free Disney" (Downtown Disney, Boardwalk, monorail, walking around resorts). We are planning our biggest Orlando/WDW trip for next summer and a short 'behind the scenes' trip May 2014!

I voted for the Magic Kingdom. But if it's okay, I just changed my vote to Epcot and here is why:

1. The Music - the Innoventions Loop is one of my favorite tracks in all of disney. I could listen to it the whole day. Also the International Gateway Loop and the Epcot Entrance Loop are two of my favorites as well.

2. Illuminations - the music is also wonderful, and it's the best choreographed fireworks show I have ever seen.

3. World Showcase - great dining, endless entertainment (the Beatles in UK), and the detail and realism in all of the pavillions are fantastic.

4. The Land - This building as a whole is my favorite pavillion in Epcot. I feel most of it gets overlooked because everyone always runs to Soarin'. Living with the Land is a great ride. The food options are good. And the Circle of Life show is a nice touch as well. There is so much to see and do in this pavillion. And even if it rains, you can still enjoy 3 attractions and several eating options without getting wet.

5. Club Cool - Sodas from around the world...for free? It is a "cool" little gem in Innonventions that we always go to if we ever need a nice refreshment.

Although the MK is great, I changed my mind to Epcot. The park that has an 18 story geodesic sphere with an attraction inside it, 11 nations with dining and attractions within them, an aquarium where you can go scuba diving, a ride where you go flying over california, and another where you feel the g-force of a rocketship to Mars, while seeing a one of a kind fireworks show. And through all of that, you can actually learn about the land, energy, automobiles, communication, imagination, different cultures, and much more. Epcot is as much about the fun as it is about the education and that is why I think it's the best.

Definately have to say Magic Kingdom just for the mere fact that it is the original park and has the most attractions. If I had one day only at WDW, it would be to head to Magic Kingdom, ride the 3 mountains, grab a Casey hot dog, do pirates, haunted mansion and the rest would depend on the crowd.

Magic Kingdom! I don't even like to go past day 1 on vacation without visiting that park. It is quintessential Disney to me. There is nothing in the world like walking under the railroad tunnel and seeing Main St. and the castle.

Undoubtedly there will always be a special place in my heart for the MK. But if I had only one day I would always choose EPCOT. Since moving away from FL a few years ago, any sunny day here in NC will make me think, "gosh, it sure is a great day for walking around the world." On a hot day I just crave either a fiesta margarita from the Margarita stand in Mexico, or a frozen Grand Marnier slush from France. Occasionally I get the urge to simply walk through the amazing gift shop mecca in Japan, or ride the Maelstrom log flume in Norway, or listen to Mo'Rockin rock out while enjoying a snack from the Tangierine Café. (Can you tell I'm a World Showcase nut in particular?)

None of the other parks as a whole, in my opinion, truly take you away from reality and transport you to far off magical places than EPCOT. And don't even get me started about the Food and Wine festival! I could live that every day! :D
