I loved that!! Gold and Rumple seem like two different people. I wish they could keep is creepy persona when he's "Mr. Gold"

Season 3.5 has been really good so far. It seems the showrunners have learned the lessons of the past and things are progressing at a nice clip. Things that could have conceivably dragged out for a couple of episodes are getting resolved very quickly.

I agree! I couldn't stand the whole neverland plot. Henry just bugs me sometimes. I get annoyed with his character. Do you think he'll get his memory back or Emma will just end up explaining all this stuff to him?

He'll get his memory back because Regina will do some noble self-sacrifice true love blah blah blah. I'm more interested in that darned book. That's the one thing they've left us hanging on, and the creators have said we won't find out anything about who wrote it or where it came from this season. Seriously. It's been three years!

Where has that book been? Will we find out next season?

The last we saw it, Peter in Henry's body had it, which is how he found out about the curse. Then, we saw it disappeared with the town when Regina broke her curse. It has yet to make an appearance in this part of the season, though it has been said it will show up, but again, we're not going to learn much, if anything, about it's origins.

Any ideas who wrote it? I've never really thought about it.

Well, let's go with what we know. It only seems to cover inhabitants of the Enchanted Forest. It had nothing about Dr. Frankenstein, remember, which is what prompted Henry's comment of "So, who else could be in this town?", a plot hook they haven't as yet followed up on. Granted, Frankenstein getting grabbed by the curse was never adequately explained either.

Mary-Margaret had it for as long as she can remember, suggesting that it's part of the curse or it appeared shortly after.

Not sure If I like the twist with the wicked witch, I know I hated the twist on rapunzel's character.

"Rapunzel, Rapunzel, let down yo fake weave!" LOL

I would like them to add Princess Tiana to the show instead of making Rapunzel black! I wonder if we will see her again in any more episodes?

My issue was with her story, I actually thought the decision to make her african american was a perfect choice as Once upon a time suffers from a real lack of diversity. The problem was is that here they have this beloved character especially ever since her animated debut, someone who could have been integral to the plot and a series regular not to mention african american, yet she was written off. To add salt to the wound the whole fear twist was rather weak and lame and a waste of a perfectly good villain. I just don't think we will see Rapunzel anytime soon, as for Tiana I would love her to show up at some point. Perhaps have her be an outsider who gets caught up in the magic of story book and that is how she meets naveen?

That's the reason why I want Tiana on the show is for the lack of diversity! It was just weird seeing Rapunzel as a black woman. My wife and I had several good laughs about weave jokes that night!

And please don't twist and take my comment as being racist in anyway shape or form! (you were all thinking the same thing anyways!) ;)

Yeah, the way the Rapunzel story went she was less "fairy tale princess" and more "crazy shut-in". I mean, when Cinderella's stepsister makes out better than an actual princess, things have gone wrong.

Exactly! Anastasia's character had twice the heart of Rapunzel's character. .

Rapunzel's story was a real let down-I didn't expect her to be a one and done character....especially since the show lacks diversity. She ended up barely on screen just like Lancelot.

In other OUAT news, Charming & Snow got married in real life! I love those two-especially since Ginnifer is a huge disney fan herself!!!

Yah but she was clearly written off, lol Lancelot on the other hand was burned off

After the episode aired, the creators were quick to say that they could bring him back if they wanted to. "Why would you trust Cora?"

And I don't know how written off she was. There's a good chance that her kingdom was affected by the curse, just like every other kingdom in the Enchanted Forest.

Well, we'll see next week. Still, there is a decidedly simple way to bring any character back if they wanted to. They just need to pull the trigger and introduce THIS guy...
