On-Line Check-In?

I had read that WDW was going to be allowing online check-in to your hotel. Does anyone know if that is true and is it available yet?

They trialed it at one of the DVC resorts. It hasn't been tried anywhere else yet.

Yes they will but like all the upgrades they are making to the systems, they are all delayed. ADR's, website, etc. So this too is delayed.

And ADR system was going to be ready by October 1, then end of October, then end of the year, then end of January....now...:veryconfu

When we were there two weeks ago, I didn't see any evidence of them preparing to install the required kiosks for self check-in at any of the resorts we toured. Maybe that's not how it's going to work, but I will believe Feb 1 when I see photos of someone using it in person.

I said hopefully...but with many things I won't hold my breath. I don't think it will be a self check in system, but a faster one. From what I believe I heard...there will be a separate line for people who have checked in online. Your check in package will already be set up for you and you will just receive it and sign I believe.

Target date is sometime later this month. Of course, it's the 3rd or 4th target set and you see what's happened with past ones.

I called the reservations line earlier today and they said it should be available by the end of this month - I think she said in 2 weeks - but we leave in 2 days.:sohappy: I guess we won't be able to try it

This would be very nice to do. I have a tentative trip planed for late April so they might actually have this working by then.
