Ok,when does it finally hit you when you realise " were there at last " Is it when you get to your resort? Or when you see something that brings back memories ? For me it's when i arrive at my resort,it's like coming home to the place you love.My DW loves to see the castle from end of main st USA.She just stands there for a few moments to take it all in.Your thoughts please. This has probably been discussed many times in these threads but with so many of us going in the next few months,just want to hear your answers.

For me, if we drive, and see "Welcome to Florida" on I-95, my peeps scream with delight! (Probably because they were all born and raised in Jax [except my South Florida hubby]). Then when we pull into their Aunt Mia's driveway in Orange Park 40 minutes later it gets louder!

After the awesome party night we have with our dear old friends (they're not old-just been friends a long time) and we get into our SUV the next morning after a long missed visit to Chik fil-a, and head to I-4 in Daytona...we take the last rest area stop almost into Orlando and thats it!

We know we are HOME!!!

November 2012! Can't wait!

I think we have two "we're really here moments". The first when we drive under the "Welcome to Walt Disney World" arch & the second is when we pull into our resort! Ah yes....home away from home for at least 1 week!

The smile hits my face when I pass under the Welcome sign, the giddyness kicks in when I put my luggage down in the resort room, and the pure happiness arrives when I walk under the train station and see the castle.

Believe it or not, the Disney *vibe* hits me as soon as I hear the flight attendant say "Welcome to Orlando", then walking thru the airport and seeing the DME desk, I know, for atleast a week, I'm *home*

Same for me, landing in Orlando seeing the palm trees and walking threw that airport I get all excited because I am almost home
