Oliver and Company

It seems almost every Disney Animated Classic is represented somewhere in a Disney theme park, but there doesn't seem to be any reference to Oliver and Company. Even Lady and the Tramp has a small reference (paw prints in front of Tony's). Is there something related to Oliver and Company that I just don't know about? Has there ever been?

In the Disneymania castle show "Why Should I Worry?" was a featured song with Dodger making an appearance.

I have some regular photos in an album if you are interested.

Wow, I can't imagine what Doger would look like. Pictures would be fantastic.

I'll have a nose through the albums then. I may also have a shot of the MK pre-parade float when they were advertising (I think) the video release.

That is awesome! I've been going to Disney World almost every year since I was a baby and never knew this existed. I guess my question now is what do they do with all the stuff they don't need once they are done with it (the costumes, etc.) Thanks a bunch for the pictures. That was really cool!

The parade float would have come out when the movie was released and when the video was released. I have photos of Dodger in Disneymania from more than one visit, so the song must have been part of the set for at least a year.

And Tony's itself represents Lady and the Tramp.

I was going to say that too. Tony's is in Lady and the Tramp!

I do love Oliver & Co. though...

There are plenty, PLENTY of Disney animated movies that aren't represented. Just off the top of my head, Black Cauldron, Fox and the Hound, Home on the Range (and that is nearly brand new), the Rescuers, Great Mouse Detective, there are plenty. If the new movies make money, they are represented (Lilo and Stitch). If they don't, they aren't (Treasure Planet had representation at first, but is pretty much gone). If the old movies stand the test of time (Winnie the Pooh is still huge), they get stuff dedicated to them.

Actually, the Horned King from the Black Cauldron is the featured villian in Tokyo Disneyland's Cinderella Castle Mystery tour. Also, Home on the Range briefly had a pre-parade float complete with the main cow characters and a Pearl face character. I've got pictures of the float, but my computer just died, so they're inaccessable (I'm on a school computer right now). I believe that Big Thunder Ranch over in Disneyland has also been re-named "Patch of Heaven."

I can think of all the movies you named being represented except one. Gurgi's Munchies & Crunchies was a fast food place in Fantasyland from 1986 - 1993
. I had my picture taken with the rescuers charaters on several trips in the 80's, I saw the Home on the Range float like the post above states, but I can not recall a Fox In The Hound presence. Anyone else? There had to be one.

I don't know if they still do or not, but they used to play "Little Patch Of Heaven" constantly in Frontierland......after awhile it makes IASW not so bad.

Oliver and Company is my favorite Disney movie (as you can see by my avatar). I never knew they had a float in a parade. thanks for the pics.

Gurgi's Munchies and Crunchies! I remember that place! It was between Snow White and Mr. Toad, right? Thanks for the flash back.

Most of my favorite Disney movies do not have theme park attractions. I haven't watched Oliver and Company in at least 15 years. I'd love to see that and the Fox and the Hound again sometime.
