Older Child Ordering From Kids Menu?

For older children who are on the adult dining plan...if there is nothing on the adult menu that they like, can they choose from the kids section of the menu instead?

I don't have any personal experience with this, but what I've heard before from others is that you can order from the children's menu if you pay out of pocket for those meals.

Wouldn't think there would be a problem.. Would be if a child wanted to pick from the adult menu.

What @real mad hatter said. As long as they 're ordering from the child menu and not the other way around, your server will not have a problem with that.

Example..Last year our DS was almost 15 and we had no problem when we ordered a steak from the kids menu at Cali Grill..

I think it's at the discretion of the restaurant if you're using the dining plan. I have heard of people getting adult-sized portions of kids meals before, though.

I don't think it should be a problem to be honest. I've done it plenty of times before. If they make it a problem, then ask to speak to management.

I think it's up to the server. Sometimes they seem like they want exert some kind of authority and make things difficult. That is the experience we have had with a few different ones.
