I first visited MK in Jan 1973, on leave from boot camp, USN RTC Orlando, and had a Kodak Pocket Instamatic! Took a couple of rolls of film and last year or so scanned them all in and put together a PDF...

ejud - lovely `73 pic. For those unitiated, look at the end of the Tland concourse. No Star Jets or WEDway. See the silver building at the far end? That`s the original side to the Skyway building, ready to be grafted onto Space Port (which of course never happened)

We can of course set the time machine to go waaaay back:
