Congratulations and welcome home neighbor!Wasnt able to find the price per point, per year of contract, or cant read my own handwriting.. but the cost per point direct until the 16th is $160 per point at OKW. it goes up to 165 on the 17th.
@helenabear We did it! We bought in this morning!
Thank you! Points are now in our account, and were going to try to go at least a long weekend before the end of the year to see some decorations,. bank the rest, and get a bigger room for next years main trip.Congratulations and welcome home neighbor!

For us, were about 11 hours out. Long weekends can easily be a thing driving even. So one we can buy an AP, we will save a ton there, as we plan to do a full week, and then a long weekend at least. With APs, timing it correctly, we could potentially get 3 trips in out of one year. Then theres the added years. the 2057 resale is hard to come by, almost like a unicorn. We were concerned being 34 and 39 we wouldnt have enough years for it to hold its value. Same for if and when Moonlight magic comes back. we would use that for a long weekend type trip. My wife and i get a ton of FTO from work, and they want us to use it. We had heavily considered resale, but for us the benefits mattered, we can make really good use of AP, and the added years as we knew we wanted OKW. We did the math including maint fees, and it became maybe 150 bucks more or so in final math than going resale. When you add that we can get the AP discount, and our travel abilities, the math worked out. Plus if we decide to sell in 20 years, theres still meat left on the bone for resale.,Would love to know your research into when you would break even after maintenance fees and all of that
