Hello Everyone,

Long time reader of wdwmagic.com Best website on the internet. Never posted before but I wanted to know if anyone knew which hotel I am talking about. I've been going to disney for over 28 years at least once a year. I have been looking and looking and looking online for the hotel I stayed at as a child but can never find it and wanted to see if you can help. In the late 80s and early 90s we always stayed at a property on Disney which has been torn down but the only things I can remember is it used to be where Saratoga Springs is right now. We used to be able to rent golf carts to drive to the marketplace and it was one of the few hotels in Disney at the time. Can anyone help its been a mystery for me for years. All I know is it was called the Disney vacation Villas at the time because there were not many hotels. Pictures if you have them would be great LOL.

Thanks for all your help!

One group of rooms that were torn down were The Club Lake Suites.
We stayed at them a couple of times in the late 80's.
They were close to the original Treehouse Villas.

yes, it was the vacation villas. We stayed there in 1981. They, along with the Treehouse Villas, had chargers so you could charge your golf cart and drive them to and from what is now DTD.
