:wave:Hi,
We are staying in a Studio at OKW in September. If anyone has tips, hints or information they could give me I would be very grateful.

Thank you. :)

sure! old key west is our fav. You made a great choice, you are in the middle of the property. One piece of advice I must give you is, make sure you go to olivia's for lunch, its outstanding. Cant really think of anything else, if you have specific questions though, i'd be happy to answer

:wave:Thank you for the swift reply. I'll have a look at Olivia's menu. :)

Is there any particular building that is in a quieter area?

not really, I'm gonna guess that there is about 15 buildings, and only about 4 of them can you really get noise from the pool. Just hope you're not too far from the pool, otherwise it could be a heck of a walk!

My wife and I have stayed at OKW several times and love it. It's one of our favorite resorts. It's more like 50 buildings than 15, very spread out and very quiet... Almost like a beach community of its own. It's so pleasant to stroll around that we often walk to the Hospitality House (lobby area) rather than taking the bus there. There are five bus stops throughout the resort. You can also request a building close to the HH.

There are three other pools besides the main themed pool and slide. None of the "sleeping" buildings are close enough to the main pool to have any noise from there, but some are close to and surround the smaller pools. We can definitely recommend Olivia's for lunch or dinner, and Goods to Go for a counter service lunch.

I'm sure you'll love the serenity and beauty of OKW. Have fun!

its a great resort. very quiet and peaceful

one problem however is the bus trsnportation. i find that the stop loop around the resort adds about another ten minutes onto your trip.

Also when you take DME take into your time consideration that you noramally stop the the PO resorts right next door. FYI

As some have said it's a great place to stay, but because it is spread out I would suggest that you request a building close to the hospitality house. reason is that is the last place the busses stop to go to the parks and at the end of the night too. If your building is close to there you won't have to drag you very tired butt back to your room too far. :animwink: And it is very quiet.
