I've been goin' all my life, and I know that it'll be slammed, but does anyone have a guess'tament of how bad the crowds will actually be? I mean, I moved our trip up from Jan' 2-6, and NOTHING is available dining wise at the restuarants we wanted, so I'm assuming it'll be bad? :lol:

The last time I went during this time of year, I think I was still in a stroller, and I wasn't too concerned about the crowds then, after all, aunts/moms with strollers do have the right-of-way.

December 12-15? You're actually looking at one of the quieter times in the parks.....

I always go this week or the week previous to it and it is dead. TouringPlans also has it being pretty quiet.

yeah, I'll be there Dec 18-22 and I'm hoping that at least the first two days are not horrible. From what I read, the 20th onward seems to be the busiest.

This is one of my regular weeks and I have found that the crowds from year to year have been slowly increasing. They are not bad at all.
Dinner reservations have always been a problem if you are looking at last minute table service. :xmas::xmas::xmas: VWL !!! 3 days

That's very reassuring. Thank you very much. I'll still expect the worse, so that way if the crowds are good, it'll be great!

Christmas crowds also depend on what day Christmas falls on because that impacts when families start their trips.

You are lucky this year because with Christmas on a Saturday it usually means schools wont let out for the weekend before Christmas they will be letting out mid-week...

Don't expect too large a crowd except on the weekend you are there.

I go that same week every single year -- it has never been crowded -- yes there are many people there, yes there are waits, but it is nowhere near what the crowd levels are like during the summer or a week later as you near the holidays...It's not the quietest time of year -- but crowds won't be above a 5/10 the entire week...
