Ok Riddle Me This Which Would You Rather Have?

If I lived in Orlando or close to there, I'd do many small trips! I'd have an AP, and I'd be there for all of the special events. But, I probably wouldn't stay on property. I might wish to work there.;)
Otherwise, 1 nice long trip suits me just fine.;)

Monthly, assuming I had a shortish flight.

I'd rather take several shortish breaks where I could chill out than one long, "Do it all or die trying!" trip.

I'm fine with my once a year short trips since in about 20-25 yrs when I retire, I'll be working there part-time (hopefully at the Seas), so being there a lot is in my future!

We had the 10 day trip of a life time way back when, and it was amazing!!! However just to fulfill my bucket list I would love to have mini trips during Halloween, Christmas,Flower and Garden Show and opening weekend of Star Wars!! And then go back to our summer road trip.

although I love the 10 dayers, we've been doing long weekends lately and we find we can go more frequently (more than 10 days). It's not such a burden on our budget and not such a long wait.we went 4x in 2 months, the last being in March- this waiting til the end of June is KILLING ME!!!!

I always figured that, if I lived in or near Orlando (even Tampa), I'd do the small trips. Weekly. I would still want to stay on property once every now and then as that is part of the fun (not leaving the bubble).

For sure - my vote is for one longer 10 day trip. By the time you get there and settled it would seem time to head home on your short version. I love going for at least a week and feeling like we can get lost there - plenty of time to rest and enjoy as much as we want before we head back to the "True North" (Canada)
True North, Winterfell? Or north of the Wall?
10 days! We take 2-3 day trips often to Chicago, Washington DC, Indy, Louisville, Atanta and Lexington. We have family in a lot of these places and live in KY so most are under 5 hour drives. We also take a beach trip once a year and DH and I get a 4/5 day trip for a conference he attends every year in different cities. We do enough short trips. Our longest WDW was 7 full days leaving the 8th, twice. We loved it and wanted more, hopefully we can work out a 10 day trip before our kids get too big. That being said we are sneaking a 1 1/2 day trip here soon, DH and I are already tossing around and idea to stay longer!

Would you rather go on one big Disney vacation once a year or small ones every month. Say the big one is 10 days and the monthly ones run 3 days which would you rather have?

Living as far away as we do, I have to say one big vacation a year. We actually did 10 day vacations each year for a few years when it was still affordable to us. Now we're down to maybe 5 or 6 days every other year.

If money were not an limitation, I would still take one 10 day vacation over several smaller ones. Short visits, for us at least, make it more difficult to settle into the entire resort feeling.

I was thinking about this the other day when I was reading posts of people who come for 10+ days. I live in Florida so from Oct-May we go at least one weekend a month and then longer stays for birthdays, Halloween and early December. I do think I'd love to go for ten days though and really relax and soak it up!

Monthly, if I could live within a couple of hours of it.

If I had to get on the plane from Stansted every time I'd take the yearly one I think.
