Ohana menu question

This is easily one of my favorite places to eat on WDW property. My wife and I have eaten there on a few special occasions and we think the food is very very good. But about a year ago we decided to try Kona, when we were done we strolled by Ohana. Well for no particular reason I looked at the menu hanging on the wall, and I was shocked to see they had removed the scalloped potatoes and replaced them with noodles! That was the best thing on the menu!

But today I went to Allears and looked up the menu, (http://allears.net/menu/menu_oh.htm)
And the potatoes appear to be back!!

Has anyone eaten there recently? Can anyone confirm this? If true this is the best news!

I really liked the noodles when we ate there in October, and now according the the menu on All Ears, it says potatoes OR noodles :slurp:. I've heard so much about the potatoes I will have a hard time picking one!

Potatoes..YES!!

My family just got back from WDW and we ate at Ohana's (our favorite as well) and yes we did get the potatoes. Our server said that so many people requested them that they are now offering both noodles and potatoes.

I wonder what they will do if some want noodles & some want potatoes? :shrug: Isn't it family style? We will be going for the first time this Sept. :slurp:

This is good news indeed. We tried making the potatoes at home once...of course, they weren't nearly as good. Besides everything else, you really need the setting to justify all those calories. :slurp:

Ohhh! Yeah!!! The potatoes are back!! We will definitely be going back to Ohana's on our next trip. The potatoes and the dessert are the only reasons I go!! :sohappy::sohappy::sohappy:

We def. did not get potatoes last summer. We did get noodles, but they were delicious. It was my first time there, so I didn't know anything about these potatoes. Next time maybe I'll get those instead!

It's only 11 AM and I'm already now craving dinner. That's the trouble with these dining boards....

This has totally made my day.. I was so sad when I heard they took the potatoes off the menu.. Thanks to everyone who asked for them back!! Can't wait for our dinner in May! :sohappy:

this is very exciting news i loved the potatoes there and was so sad when they took them off the menu. even though the noodles were good, nothing compares to those potatoes!!
