Ohana at the Poly

Have only eaten at Ohana once and remember being given a Hawaiian Lei, does anyone know if these are still given out? and whether it is just dinner or at breakfast as well?

Are you sure you aren't thinking of the luau? Leis are given out to guests there. We have eaten dinner at 'Ohana for years and have never been given leis.

I think they still give them out at the front desk to guests checking in, but I also don;t recall them giving them to Ohana "cousins".

Last time we were at the Poly for breakfast at Kona Café (admit that was 4 years ago) they were giving out the Lei's and people were having their photos taken before going into Ohana for breakfast, the nice Man handing them out gave one each to my Mum and I even though we were not eating in Ohana, and as we are booked for breakfast in Ohana this December just wondered if they still had them

On our recent trip they were giving them to anyone who wanted one after the coconut race concluded.

Went in 2009 and got one from the ukulele player because we had recently gotten engaged. Went in 2013 and didn't get any.

Got one every year including as recent as Nov 14 at dinner at 'Ohana. So yes they dI give them out at dinner. It's usually the lady who comes out and gathers people around to walk around the restaurant and sings etc. She comes out off and on all night even at late reservations after 9pm (usually when we go but have gone around 7 as well and she was there).

The lady does give them that comes out and sings with the ukulele. Sorry yall have missed out on them. She has come out with them on her arm every time we eat there for dinner at 'Ohana and we eat there every trip. Lots of folks ask for them if they do not get one from her and she gladly will give you one. Me and DH have several of them still. She comes out periodically throughout the night even really late as we usually eat late dinners.

We've always gotten leis at breakfast and got them on one of our dinner visits. I do recall another dinner visit where I got a lei, but it was only because I was celebrating a bday. The other times, everyone got them.
