Not to change the subject (yeah like we actually have one), but I'm just sick about this whole shooting thing in Colorado. So hard to comprehend.....

I am also. What kind of human being shoots children and a 3 month old baby?
What is this world coming to. All the hate of everyone who is different or has different views.

An idle moment has me sitting here, composing a rhyme while I consider the importance of a pandemic. It is almost three months since this silly thread was started, so to luv we say, “thanks”. Keep in mind that I have composed this little poem on the fly, as it were, so it’s not my best work. Ode to luv

You sought to comfort those who watched a show

But never thought to how the thread would grow

It lost control within a simple page

As others sought to mock poor Laura’s rage

And now we come to share a laugh or two

In numbers some would say are sadly few

So to your mercy now we humbly plead

That you might join us soon, if not to lead

Oh luv, the laughs are only here to share

And so our mirth exists because we care

This doesn't even appear to be a hate crime - just a crazed gunman. As a parent, I'm just heartsick.

I will be shocked if it isn't a hate crime. This was extremely well thought out and executed. His mom wasn't even surprised because of a subject we can't discuss here.
Really doesn't matter though. My daughter was suppose to go to one of these events last night and decided not to fight the crowd. It could have been anywhere. It could have been one of our children. The pain these families are going to face is unimaginable to those who haven't lost immediate family.
I don't know if we're allowed to ask for prayer for these families, but if this doesn't get locked, please all of you take a moment to pray for these families.

I heard about the theater gunman on my way in to work. Disturbing is unfortunately not strong enough of a word. Sickening, disgusting - I just don't understand how people become so unbalanced they could commit this type of crime.
