Oh, those poor Ingalls girls...

So in case you're wondering why I never have, nor never will visit WDW during the week between Christmas & New Years...
In all seriousness, I love the Holiday Season at WDW. Bigger crowds, but a great atmosphere. I've done it many times with no regrets.

Even with crowds that big? We did April break one year, and it was packed like that. My youngest nephew was still in a stroller, and you literally couldn't push a stroller through the crowd. We just ditched it and carried him everywhere.

We've been in early Dec and loved it. I agree about the atmosphere being excellent during that time of year. I'm just too chicken to try it when all the schools/colleges are out.

You have to understand that I have fun regardless of circumstances. I just roam and enjoy. The crowds can be oppressive, but I determine to enjoy myself despite the unwashed masses.

Yes, but it's sort of like climbing Mount Everest and getting frostbite. In the end, it's a scar of triumph.

I'll stick with earlier December...

Once I saw 3 of my teachers at WDW on one trip. 4 if you include my mother...

We have often run into our students there. When you have to vacation at the same time they do, it's bound to happen on occasion. My husband used to teach in a small town, and one summer we were sitting in a booth at Beaches and cream when we heard a very recognizable accent. He peeked over the top, and there were 3 of his students having ice cream. They screamed.....

And a fine good morning to you!

And now for Deep Thoughts, by NYwdwfan:

Yesterday, I saw a cricket on the screen outside of my sliding glass door. As I watched him make his way up the screen, I noticed he only had one hind leg. So in essence he was a mute cricket, since they use those legs to chirp. I found myself watching him for a good long time, wondering if this impacts his little cricket life. Then I went to make dinner.
