Finally something I have local - it's right down the street. A new, clean one too - not one of the old nasty ones. Alas, I brough my lunch today and am determined to eat it!

They kind of come and go around here. We found one the other day that we didn't even know we had.

What can I say, we don't get out much....

My husband and I once made a late night IHOP stop when we were dating and the waiter informed us that they were out of hash browns.

We went to the diner instead.

Who runs out of hash browns?

Just finished lunch. Watched a CRAZY high speed chase in Miami. Some guy in a Mercedes SUV was driving like mad - then went the wrong way, across people's lawns, finally crashed into a fence and tried to run. There were a bunch of people in the car. It was totally nuts! It's a wonder nobody was hurt. Wonder what was going on and why he was running?!

Being chased by a zombie? That would be my guess.

And this is the type of news that keeps this thread alive and kicking:

Baltimore Ravens fans possibly exposed to rabies after bat found at game

Published August 24, 2012
FoxNews.com
The Maryland Department of Health and Mental Hygiene is alerting Maryland residents to possible rabies exposure at a Baltimore Ravens football game.
Officials say a bat reportedly landed on a person sitting in the 500 section of M&T Bank Stadium on Friday, August 17 during the 8 p.m. game between the Ravens and the Detroit Lions.
The bat was brushed off and flew away and testing for rabies was not possible.
Health officials believe several other people may have touched the bat.

It's time to wake up here. Baltimore is close to Washington D.C. Rabies has been planted at a stadium where thousands of people gather. I believe that the government is experimenting in small doses to see how well agencies and the citizenry will respond to the massive outbreak that extends well past the Ingalls family. They know something that they're not willing to tell us...yet.
