OK... so, those of you who know me know that I tend to go to Epcot at the drop of a hat... it's part of my M.O., right... whenever I'm depressed, I go to Epcot. So, yesterday I had the day from hell. I told my editor I was either going to take a day off today, or come in the newsroom shooting... so, she let me off. I arrived at Epcot's parking lot at 8:43 a.m.
Anyway, I was just kinda hanging out, like I normally do, and I decided to go to M:S and just bum around the wall, like I always do. I was dreamily looking at the building, when I hear a voice behind me.
"Looks like it's going to be good, doesn't it."
So, I turn around and there's a GR guy in a blazer and such. So I agree. Then he smiles and says...
"Wanna find out how good it is?"
Needless to say, I kinda freaked out...
Next thing I kow, me and a few other people were walking around inside the building!!!
They told us they only had one of the centrifuges up and they were testing it. We would be allowed to go in, ride the ride and leave the building... there isn't much else to do in the building, frankly... but, that was fine with me. I just wanted to ride the ride.
AND I DID!!!
And my God, people. Wait until you ride this thing... it was absoloutely amazing... clearly the best ride I've ever been on.
Better than Spider-man better than... everything.
So, now this means that there are three attractions I've been one of the first people to ride. I stood in a line that extended out to innoventions to be one of the first to softride TT, I lucked out and happened to be in Disney Studios when the new ToT sequnces were put in (rainy night... the park was almost empty) and now this.
I'm a good luck charm, I guess... Anyway, this was the best day ever. I'm so pumped to see all the theming and stuff...
I even got to see the M:S ladder!!!
So cool... I'm still in shock.
