I don't see a problem having a dress code. It's no different than going to a prom or dance. Only this takes place in a park.

Wish I could have experienced it last year, but I live too far away. I did end up getting the Grad Nite pins from WDW and DLR.

I will wish you all the best of times, and stay safe! We know the crazy stuff some of these people can do.

I dont know if im gonna like Grad Nite. I am going the 23rd. I love disney and everything about it but when it changes to meet the needs of Teenagers I dont know if im gonna like it. Changing the music from themed music to rap isnt what I want...BUT I may like it and Ill put in a trip report when I come back.

I have to tell you I felt the same way. I'm not into rap or whatever was being played at mine, but I was surprised and relieved that I liked the changes! Although my year was pre-foam bath and in the dress up years, but they spice the place up with a lot of fun lighting in unexpected places, silly games, smoke machines, bubbles, and all kinds of fun things. We just planned our night around where the various concerts were to avoid those crowds, and it went off without a hitch! I don't even remember who performed at ours, they were of so little consequence to me. It's still the same park you love, but with a little bit of funky fun added and no little kids to trip over! :king:
although I must admit that I wasn't very excited with the blast-off party. My nerdy Disneyfreak friends and I just couldn't wait to get out of there and get over to Magic Kingdom!

We had Petey Pablo, City High, DJ Scribble, and Natural. I heard Petey Pablo fell off stage! Wish I could have seen that.

I think I was there the same year you were, and I don't remember any of that. None of those names sound even vaguely familiar to me.

My Grad Nite was 4 years ago. The only band I remember playing there was Nine Days. Have fun guys. It really is an awesome experience that you won't forget. Plus you get a free photo (I still have mine)

Is it 5:00 yet?
I went to Grad Nite in '96...before they had fastpass!! The lines were soooo long. I wasn't able to ride hardly anything! Anyway we had The Rembrants, Immature, Sammy Kershaw, and Silk...I scanned the brochure but I don't know how to insert it into this reply! I saved it as a.jpg and resized it to make it smaller. Then I right clicked on it and picked copy. Then I tried to paste it in and nothing happened. What am I doing wrong???

Grad Nite 2002 was the greatest! That's where my nickname was created. Yes, those were the groups there, but we skipped them all. Shorter lines during concerts! :goodnevil I do think the blast off party @ PI wasn't as good as it could have been, but I made the best of it. Right, Corinne? And our dress code was so strict; I remember being asked to tuck in my shirt by a castmember while getting our grad-nite Mickey ears. So much for "dressing nice makes you act better". To everyone who is going, you guys will have so much fun. And if you're not having fun, it's your own fault! :p Wish I could go again, but this time I might have to get my 1,2 step on with Ciara.

Everything is open except the TTA, COP, Jungle Cruise and Enchanted Tiki Room.

I worked last nights grad nite (23rd). I was working right by the stage where Keven Lyttle performed. It was alot of fun for me and everyone else. The DJ they had for 96.1 I think (In Miami) was really bad. He was trying to mix songs like Green Day with Fat Joe, and it just wasn't working out for the dude.

By the way...the 'dress code'. I didn't even know there was one. People weren't wearing bikinis or anything like that, but things like polos and jeans (for guys) and shirts and skirts (for ladies) seemed to be what everyone was wearing.
