Pre-Trip Off To Work I Go

Once again duty calls and I'll be heading to WDW to work! Am I a Cast Member? Nope. But I will be bringing a dog to train!

Who? This guy!

His name is Sherman, aka Sherm, aka Shermie, aka P Sherman, 42

Sherman's mom works with my sister and they are good friends so in am exciting twist, my sister will be joining us as well!

Sherman's mom, Patti, travels all around the country and asked if id be willing to fly down with them so she gets some training with him and learns the dos and don'ts of bringing the dog to the airport and airplane.

I prefer driving but agreed to flying down to get some extra training in with her and Sherm. There is a fun bonus. She flies first class and got my ticket to join them so ill get to be fancy for the flight down lol!

Where are we staying? Bay Lake Tower

When are we going? In 2 days! Sunday

There is a potential for snow here in Georgia on Sunday. C (my wife) and I soooo look forward to snow days to just stay home and enjoy the weather amd eat and make some cold day cocktails and watch movies and we may get one good snow per year down her in GA if we're lucky. But missing snow day for Disney is a fair trade off.

I was actually in ytnahsgib (that’s highly unbreakable, super duper, secret code so your location isn’t compromised

) last week and I’m 9000% (see what I did there?) certain I passed your facility and saw you walking a pupper in the parking lot. Because of rubbernecking due to being star-struck, I nearly rear ended the car in front of me. With that said, your sheer awesomeness is starting to pose a threat to motorists. Sherman is absolutely adorable!!! I don't care if you haven't finished your previous TR because I just love seeing all the dogs you get to take on your trips!!! It doesn't get much better than flying first class on someone else's dime and flying with a dog!!! Can't wait to follow along on this trip!

We fly out tomorrow morning! Im.excited as this is the first time ive flown to WDW in about 15 years! Last time C and I flew there was a delay and then our bags took forever and by the time we got to the room it was almost the same amount of time if we had drove. Arriving early to the airport was a big chunk of time.

If room isnt ready we are planning on lunch at Poynesian or WL. We are saving our first experience at Steakhouse 71 for dinner. Patti is like me and prefers to sit at the bar. My sister is not a bar person but she is out voted so hopefully she enjoys the benefits of bar life! Lol

I just met up with Patti amd dropped off Big Sherm

I had a puppy graudate earlier today and then took Sherman to meet Patti.

This is Louie who graduated today.

Sherman was relaxing on his bed for the appx 2 hours of Louies graduation

Im currently grabbing some.food and a beer before heading home

Packing should be easy as I haven't unpacked my suitcase from our December trip. Since we had a villa with washer amd dryer, C had cleaned all our clothes before leaving. I had many clothes for colder weather packed that we did not need since it was warm but it likes like cooler temps next week so I jsut basically have to zip it up amd toss it in the car.

I think you have the best job in the world working with those adorable dogs. I would enjoy everyday working with them.
