I have their first three albums... and I'm planning on getting the fourth (even though it is just a live album).

It's not just a live album.... it's an awesome live album. I usually don't like live albums, but the sound is really good, plus the banter by the band is hillarious. Also, most of the songs are a lot longer. It's definetly worth the purchase.

Hey Marie...maybe you should change to "wannabekilted"!  . I believe she is the most extreme fan they have...here or anywhere.
Nah I dont want to be kilted!!! I am just a simple fan is all!!! I know a few people who are far more obsessed than me!!!!! But then again you would have to see it to believe it in any event. The guys really are pretty amazing, although Randy was out on vacation this week so a substitute guitarist named Jordan was filling in for him while he was out. Jordan was amazing. He is a great guitarist and a very classy sweet gentleman!!!! I hope everyone who saw Off Kilter this week because of me enjoyed them as much as I did!! Belle

2 favourites for me

Thanks for all the responses Which is everyone's favorite Off Kilter song ?

Favourite number 1: Follow me up to Carlow. Feel the beat of that double bass drum!! :D

Favourite number 2: Mari Mac, especially when done live. Quite a thing to hear Randy "whip" Jamie to go faster...

Apart from that, the purely instrumental songs like Miracle Fingers are quite good. And their remakes of songs like Johnny B Goode or oldies like Danny Boy.

Oh wait, that's more than 2 :drevil:

Off Kilter: 1) Dirty Old Town & 2)Smuggling Grapes Medley
Etched in Stone: 1) Trouble in the Kitchen & 2) Back Home in Derry
Celtic Armadillo: 1) Dark Island & 2) Like You
Live Tracks: 1) Johnny B Goode & 2) Goodbye Muirsin Durkin With Randy singing Sweet home Alberta & Thank God I Am a Country Boy
Not recorded as of yet: 1) Everywhere I Go & 2) Reel & Roll

I'm leaving on Friday, and I will be making it a point to see them. Wow, I get to see All That Remains, Dying Fetus, and GWAR the night I get there, and Off Kilter anytime I want after that, it's going to rock for sure.

Actually it isnt quite that easy to catch them. Make sure you grab a times guide for the parks and take note of what days and times that Off Kitler is playing. The usual is Sunday, Monday, Wednesday and Thursday at 1:00, 2:30, 3:30, 4:30 and 6:00 pm but double check it to be certain. I swear that is how I kept missing them for all but the past two years!!! For example, when I was there they were playing Sunday thru Thursday with no Tuesday off so the schedule isnt written in stone. If you want to video tape them, Id suggest showing up a half hour prior to show time to get a good spot in the front row!! I hope you enjoy the band!! Belle

Belle,

Is the Live Tracks CD worth it?

I finially purchased the other three yesterday.
Hi Turkey, I like the Live Tracks due to the fact that it has the same joking around and funny comments that you would see at one of their shows, hence the name. There is the Johnny B Goode track that isnt on any of the previous albums at all and some different versions of songs such as Goodbye Muirsin Durkin. If you lived a bit closer Id invite you over to listen to it so you could make an informed decision!!! Belle

We saw them for the first time when we were there a few weeks ago. They ROCK !!!!.....And who would have thunk that bagpipes could rock?!?!?

Oh bagpipes can definately rock. Need we remember the classic AC/DC :fork: song "It's a Long Way to the Top (If You Wanna Rock and Roll)"?? If anyone out there is a big Off Kilter fan you might wanna check out the group Flogging Molly and my personal favorite Dropkick Murphys.

Hey there of course AC/DC!!! I Like that song a lot as well. I have heard of the Dropkick Murphys however you cant catch them in Disneyworld!!! I actually attended an Irish Festival in Indianapolis as Off Kilter was gong to be performing there. I enjoyed the festival and most of the other bands were good, if a bit more traditional than the Off Kilter Boys. One band that I had very much looked foward to seeing, more rock & roll similar to OK, was just awful!!!!!! I was pretty surprised, given the level of talent over the course of the weekend. Just goes to show ya, you can imitate the style, but the talent will show who is the better band!!!! Belle

Although The Land, I do tend to agree with you if you cant get to EPCOT or one of the many Irish Fests that the band does during the year. I have heard tales of people selling the Off Kilter CDs on E bay for more money than they actually are in the parks, which is more than Off Kilter's own website!!!! Belle
