Off Kilter in Indianapolis!

Anyone in the Indianapolis area that's interested in seeing Off Kilter-they'll be playing at Indy's Irish Fest September 16-18 at Military Park downtown. Showtimes aren't posted yet, but I believe they are scheduled to play Friday and Saturday nites. Irish Fest is pretty fun, good food and entertainment-$12 per adult at the gate. I went last year and it was AWESOME!!!!!!!! I Am scheduled to be there again this year with all of the other Off Kilter fans!!!!!!! Usually they do one show later on Friday Night, two shows on Saturday one aftternoon, one evening and an earlier show on Sunday. Last year Jamie played solo at the Catholic Mass held on Sunday morning (Lovely) and he also did a Q & A session and a small talk on the origins of bagpipes and different types of styles of bagpipe music. yeeeeeeaaah. I know. I was wondering about any other place outside of EPCOT, and Indianapolis. I didn't know that they played outside of EPCOT, that is why I was asking.

There are only three festivals left but they play at larger Irish Festivals all over the USA. May I ask where you are located to see if there was anything closer that has already happened this year? Belle
Edit I just looked and I dont think there was anything closer than Indy for you. Incidentally tell Hubby this is an Irish Fest, not Disney. Trust me the boys REALLY let loose outside of the parks!!!!! Belle

Off Kilter plays the Grandfather Mtn (NC) Scottish Highland Games which are held near the 4th of July holiday. Of course, other bands also perform. This year, Jamie brought his mom.

It looks like Indy Irish Fest is the best bet, though Milwaukee is only a 4 hour drive. I will use the excuse that the Irish in me needs to go to Irish Fest.

Hey, tell Hubby it is the Irish Fest or a trip to Disney, take his pick!!! Honestly it really was quite nice. There are many trucks ( yes trucks) with large quantities of liquid refreshment so I dont think Hubby will be unhappy. I had a hard cider thing as I dont drink Beer!!! Picture that one at an Irish Fest!!!!!! The Guinness Beef Stew was excellent though. And during lunch I had a quick visit from the Bass player/Lead singer from Off Kilter, Mark Weldon!!! He is a sweetie. Belle
