I know its been closed for a few years but I saw a few people inside the other day is it used for anything anymore or is it just another empty building that disney seems to be good at these days.:veryconfu

I've seen them setting up for receptions. I think it can be privately booked, but I'm not sure.

the kitchen is used to make pretzels and turkey legs for future world and world showcase promenade area
the front part of the building is used by epcot events

Yeah, you really need a big kitchen for pretzels. :rolleyes:

Actually the kitchen is a tad small and with the amount of pretzels we go through and trays to cook them all, it does take up a lot of counter space. Other parts are used for cast cafeteria and a subway prep area. Epcot events takes over a good portion when there are events to organize the food to serve.

For the 2008 F&W (for the 1st time) - the only events held at the Odyssey were paid events.

All free culinary and wine seminars were in WoL.

At the time, some CMs were saying that moving free culinary back to Odyssey was under discussion.
