Hi folks. So my wife and I hoping come last week october/first week in Nov to Disney. I suppose at present it's all up in the air. As yet not booked any flights. What do people think the situation in the parks will be by then?

I think you’d get in. What’ll be in there is anyone’s guess at the moment.

And welcome !

Because its new territory, no one in Disney has a clue as to how a reopening is going to be addressed. You can believe anyone with any decision making about how and when an opening will occur has a bazillion plans and what if scenarios being considered. When the opening does occur its been speculated that its going to be a very different park set up and experience than we all are used to. All you can do is keep your eyes open for info as it gets released on this site and others. The way its looking, it seems theres some flattening of cases and just maybe we are slowly moving on the way out of this horrendous situation.

Thank you. Yes each day am online looking for updates. Things quite bad here in the UK, hopeful things will get better but it's all up in the air. Will probs only make the trip if the parks our running in near full capacity etc. Only time will tell. Thank you

Personally I wouldn't book any international travel during 2020 at all. So if travelling domestically you should be fine, but as others have said the format of the parks and the type of attractions operating is yet to be determined.

Just seen you have posted that you are in the UK, so I wouldn't risk the international flights as currently the non-essential travel ban is indefinite. Best to make more local plans this year and travel to the US next year in my opinion.
