October trip

We are looking at making a return trip the second week of October in 2017, what are the crowd levels like? I am guessing it will be on the quieter side but wanted to get a better idea of what it will be like.

Most likely only be doing MK and AK.

I went last year at the end of Oct. and the crowds were unusually high.

Hi There!

October is a great time to travel to WDW. Well anytime really is if you ask me LOL. Crowds historically have been lower in the fall but the past two years that has not been the case. Fall has become the popular season because of Free dining and food and wine. That being said I think that with careful planning and a bit of patience you will still have an amazing trip

Moderate to high because of Food and Wine and the Halloween Parties as well as Columbus Day weekend.

October is becoming a very busy time to travel to Walt Disney World. Between Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party, Food and Wine Fest at Epcot, the Columbus holiday and Halloween, October can get crowded. Are you planning Columbus week?

We are thinking of it. Didn't think many planned around Columbus Day. But understand if the local schools are closed.

I am use to going during spring break/Easter time and always managed just fine even though most think it's intolerable during that time

If you were able to go two weeks later to avoid some of the crowds would you? Looks like on the link above it goes from a 7/10 to 4/10
