Oct & Nov Deals??

Anyone know when we are going to see deals for Oct and November?? Are they going to extend the Free dining? Resort Room offer?? It's almost Aug shouldn't we hear something soon??:shrug:

Historically, the promotions for October and beyond should have been out a couple of weeks ago. At this point it is anyone's guess when or if anything will come out.

I had talked to someone with disney and they said "IF" they have any deals for october they will be posted in August. i went ahead and booked because if they do put a deal out they will honor that deal with my booking

This is not always true. Promotions are done based on booking rates. If the resorts are making their projected numbers, dates and/or resorts can and will be blacked out from promotions. I have run into several instances over the last year or so where clients with existing reservations have to move dates and/or switch resorts to get promotional rates. When that flexibility is not possible they are often stuck with not other options other than paying rack rate or canceling.

When I booked my hotel room earlier this week, I inquired about AP rates and the girl I spoke with told me to look for rates around end of August-beginning of Sept. I looked on another website at the historical charts of when discounts came out for October/November and 2 years ago, they came out in July.. last year they came out in August... So it's anyones guess what happens!! :shrug:

And in 2008, general room only discounts for October didnt come out until 9/25... Novembe discounts came out on 10/19.. So who knows if or when they will offer anything!!

What Master Yoda said, plus dont forget you will have to call Disney to have them apply it to your reservation, it does not automatically change to reflect any deals that come out. Marie

I think people are getting really nervous about this. Personally, I still expect something to come out, but I haven't heard any good rumors--or even any bad rumors! I'm hoping we hear something next week.

I am waiting as well for late Nov/Dec. I am still holding out hope for free dining and have dining reservations booked in case it happens. I will just have to cancel most of them if free DDP does not happen.

i know there are florida resident room discounts out now for august through october 1st but haven't seen anything beyond that except people who have gotten pin codes. maybe the general discounts for the same time frame will follow soon :shrug: ?
