Objectionable Tattoos....

I have several tattoos and applaud open freedom of expression BUT in a family atmosphere such as WDW as a parent I for one would appreciate having nudity covered. Not trying to abridge anyone's freedoms just saying I would rather not have to explain things to my kid and I would guess some others would feel similar.

Bottom line...if there is a doubt then there is no doubt at all would be the best way to look at it IMO.

Have never had a problem with mine or DW tattoo's so shouldn't be a problem so long as its not blatant :)

Theres a gentleman probably about age 60 who works at the photo desk at the RnR - ask to see his Jessica Rabbit tattoo...he's quite proud of it. She looks even shaplier on him and yes...he can make her dance.

Will have to look out for this fellow to compare Jessica's

Thanks everyone for the ideas. There is no nudity on his legs and nothing vulgar. I think we'll be fine but just bring pair of light pants for him just to be safe. Again he has nothing on his arms that are below sleeve level, its just the legs that I was concerned about.

There is nudity on his back and both rib cages so he'll just be wearing a shirt in the pool when there are kids around.

Sorry to report that I don't think he can make any of his "ladies" dance either LOL

Your DHs tattos are the last thing you should worry about!!! I'm completely sleeved and have my legs almost covered from knee to ankle, and my DW is completely sleeved as well. We're at the parks once, maybe twice a year. I have Never had a problem any where I've ever been.

I just learned the term "sleeved" from my 16 year old son the other day, lol. God help me!

We continually pleaded with our son to not get a tattoo. When he turned 21 his friends b-day gift to him was for a tattoo. My wife still to this day refuses to look at his shoulder/arm where it is. Now 4 years later, he dislikes the design he has and wants to cover the original one up with a tattoo of our family crest. Armored arm, holding a battle axe, shield, motto. I tell my wife, It's his body, hes an adult, at least the family crest is nicer than what he has now.

I'm hoping he is just testing me (or trying to aggravate me maybe?) LOL I just told him he would be wise to wait until at least 21 and reminded him that what is cool to him now may not be cool to him then. I just hope by 21 he will have outgrown the idea. But you are right, once they are grown, it's their life.

Yep, it's common nowadays, and according to my son, all the girls his age like them. I've been doing lots of praying lately too for that boy of mine.

Unbelievable how many tattoo and piercing parlors have sprung up in our area. And the cost of some of the tatoos... Man, I could pay for one months mortgage just on the money hes wanting to spend.

If there is nothing morally offensive, then don't worry about it at all. Arms, legs with tattoos are not even noticed much anymore. They are everywhere. I don't understand it because I used to run a nursing home and I have seen, up close and personal, what happens to those works of art when we age. It's not a pretty sight and the best one can hope for is that it looks like a bruise or something, but it certainly no longer resembles anything like it was originally. :D Nothing, even a tattoo is permanent. Nature reclaims in one way or the other.:)

you could get a couple of inexpensive temp tatoos to apply over the real one to blend in / cover up any offensive area. A couple days later poof it's gone and tat is exposed again. This way a bandage that would stand out drawing attention to the area would not have to be seen.
